I was going to make a recovery disk, so I dug out my old box of floppies I had in a drawer since my old PII bit the dust.  I found my resume   :laff:  and that got me wondering what else was on all these disks.  I was shocked and pleased to find this fan-art dated April 26 1999!!!  I've not seen this pic in years.  If anyone remembers this pic or the artist, I would like to know.  I think this pic deserves to live somewhere on the net.

Acording to The Futurama Outlet the artist is named Amphithea.

And it do live on the internet (sort of), just head over to the Internet Archive. or click here to go directly to the archived version of the Outlet (it's on fanart page 1).

Thanks Teral.  Like you said it sort of lives on, too bad it's in the graveyard of lost websites.  I kinda thought the artist was a chick, but I couldn't for the life of me remember who.  Her signature was erased off of my pic as is plainly obvious.  It's also a shame about the Outlet.  I used to go there all the time when Futurama first came on.  That site always had the coolest layouts with all the animated scenery.

Cool  :D
Funny thing is that I think I know the poster that that pic is inspired from, because I did a pic more recently that looks very similar (of Leela only though, but I would have included Fry, with Lightsaber in the air, could I manage to draw him properly)

http://www.leela.com.ar/fanart/zed/lambdadeltalxva.jpg  - note similar posture and costume.  ;)
