The voices your art is extreemly good. I am thinking: (its just a suggestion) Have you thought of working for Matt?
I think we would love to have you working there (well of course if Futurama doesent go all the way down).

I like the way she draws nudish Frys... it's much harder to draw naked guys than women, and I'll nick ideas and techniques quite happily...

...plus, in some of her 'realistic' stuff, she shows she's an actual artist, can do different styles. V. difficult. Interesting lady, clearly!

Well, I think hand drawn animation is slowly dying out now, Originally I wanted to be an animator (not for Futurama because there's no hope of that) But now it seems like a bad choice of career right now.  I'm currently do art at college then moving on to do a digree in Illustration at university. What I'd really like to do is draw comics, that would own man.

Zed: Well I don't really like drawing "guns", I Just like the odd auto-pistol and that, no big guns or anything

Also, I agree with Marcus. Fem Jesse is a great artist and her pictures are brilliantly original. I don't really care if most of you don't agree, so don't fill my thread with that crap!

Well I definitely admire FemJesse's artwork. It is brilliantly original and has great style, even though some argue Fry doesn't look exactly how he technically should, I still think it's great.
Yet another reason why my standing on TLZ is set to fall yet more...
Definitely looking forward to how she colours it  - though if she decides not to...you could pick me maybe? I have little to do for the next 6 4 (f*ck it's going too quickly) months...

Well i dont really know how cartoons are made now but i beleive that many artists do one character in many positions then insert it into a computer and animate it, i dont really know but i heard it somewhere.

I can't comment on it's likeness to The Matrix (I really need to watch that movie some day), but that's a great drawing, TV.

The coloring is very good, lots of great shadows and shadings.

As an aside, I like FemJesse's work alot. Original, funny, touching (mushy as she put it) and very much in style with the show.

Edit: Lee, do you ever read any of these posts? He said it was inspired by The Matrix a couple of posts up.

Quite a bit of FemJesse's art is odd in style and such, but then such art pieces like this pop up.



I think that her realistic form of Fry and Leela is better than that of Dusty Petty.

I was thinking: you want to do comics right? then i got an idea: go to:  http://www.leela.com.ar/fanfic/index.shtml  read the fanfics, choose the ones you like, ask the author permission and voila!

I guess it depends on what you mean by professional.

sometimes I think about doing characters, but I like to do action type scenes and Amy and Zoidberg don't really fit into such things.
