I think some of you are forgetting your "place" in this , I draw only for my own personal amusement, nobody else's. My drawing's are for me, I don't do requests for no-one  unless it suits me. Don't moan if i haven't drawn some picture for you, if i said I'd do it then I will, but, only when I feel like drawing it.  I post them here because I know some people enjoy looking at them, there aren't many other people in the Futurama community who try to put as much into a picture as me and try to make it original in their own style, in fact I could count them on one hand. I'm sure some people are sick of looking at some traced frame grab, as I am.

I'm not saying people shouldn't trace frame grabs, I understand that some people have trouble drawing the characters with out the aid of a frame grab. Anyway all I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't expect a piece of art to be made especially for one person, they take time and thought unlike a traced frame grab that can be whipped up in a few minutes

now here's a smiley to make this post seem more positive than it is negative

Right on man. If you don't want to draw stuff it's your choice. As I have said in previous threads it is always the artist's choice. If you start doing it for other people and not yourself then the art suffers.

TheVoices, I know what you mean about tracing.  Occasionally, I might trace... but only when it comes to cars, and even that is just the outline...  I definitely need to get a scanner so that I can post all my pictures I've been doodling, including a new character for my own fun.  Not nearly as good as your drawings, but definitely for my own amusement.

I've just got to say that I think that new picture of Leela is absolutely brilliant, and all the other pictures you've done too. I love the way her hand seems to come out of the picture, great perspective and depth. Her expression is really awesome too, and not easy to pull off, and the shading, for me is what makes the picture. Great tonal range and shadow making the whiole figure seem more 2 demensional. Awesome work!

Well while I'm here, I'm looking for someone to help me out, I've been thinking of doing some comic strips, PEEL comics included, only I suck at writing. So would anyone be willing to do the scripts for the comics and then I draw them. The art would look like the above picture, only better because I'll spend more time on it

if you want, i can send you some of my (random) ideas i sometimes have. usually they're funny, but they don't make a lot of sense. but they do fit in a few panels (usually 3 or 4 should be enough, just like in calvin & hobbes).
and i don't think i'm creative enough to crank out funny ideas every other day.

btw, that pic is awesome (like all your pics).
