POwer DVD (as already mentioned by Wu) can take wcreenshots. It's not free, it cost 40-70$ (depending on the version).

However the demo-version of Power DVD is free, and it can make screenshots as well. The only difference between the full version and the demo version, is the demo only allow for 30 minutes of movie and 5 minutes of audio at a time.

In short download the demo-version of Power DVD and you can make framegrabs.

No problem. One thing: the demo-version is only good for a limited time-period (I think it's 1 month or so). Don't delete the file you downloaded. Once it expires simply uninstall the program, reinstall it and you're set for another month of usage. Takes about 15 seconds to do.

Acesome pictures. Fry look very natural and real, while Leela is more true to the shows version. The hair in both pictures looks great.

"Poppler" is your rank - to change it, you post more. Once you reach 10 posts your rank will change.

If by "pic" you mean an avatar, go to edit your profile and you should see a long list there.

Little tip - there's an edit button you can use to edit your posts, meaning you don't have to double post

I was really bored, and so tried out my first scan...(am I the first person whose first scan was the ship?), added a nice bakground, messed around in PSP and ended up with this...I'm not sure what to think           

With apologies for the dodgy JPG smoothing, I had to scale down the massive original somewhat (available here )...

@ Lee Roberts: Overall both pictures are very good. I think you have Leela nailed.
Just two little nitpicks: In both your images, I notice Leela's lips are outlined in black. In the show, and all the screen-captures I can recall of her, her lips are outlined in some reddish hue. Also, in the top image it looks like her pupil is made up of overlapping solid black circles.
But as I said, they're nitpicks: I think you have Leela dead-bang on the money!

@ Sheep555: Very good. Stylistically (sp?), that looks like a professionally done graphic for a Futurama poster. Good "stopping power"; very eye-catching.

I like it very much. I love how you made it look like an authentic video image, kind of blurry (But in a good way), and it has the snow and a couple of pixel lines... er, yeah. Anyway, I like it very much.
