I Did It With My Laser

After a not-so-fun-on-a-bun sick day of sleeping, grading papers, and mathing it up for my Theory of Relativity class, I decided to doodle on some computer paper. I think I may dig through all of my old illustration gear and do some 40s style, Futurama pin-ups a la Neutopia.

In the mean time, there's this incomplete, five minute sketch. Not anywhere near as good as the rest of you, but it's my Happy Valentine's Day from the MOST ROMANTIC CITY IN THE WORLD greeting!

So what was the image originally?  I'm curious.   

Also, judging by the title this shoukd probably go in the funny pictures thread.  I could be wrong because I have not seen the image, but it seems fitting.

Nope, it was a photomanipulation of an IRL woman's face to make her look like Leela. Looked quite good. Would have liked to write in specific detail what looks good on that pic. Unfortunately, with the corpus delicti no longer being there, I obviously have slight difficulties to write such a critic.

I think it was Luna Lasercaptain herself, and that she might have reconsidered posting photos of herself publicly. Which I quite understand, to be honest.
