Thank you everyone, your comments really mean a lot to me!

Both the following drawings were drawn several months ago c:

Please don't critique my drawings of buildings ;-; I know they're terrible. This was a request on Deviant Art for their fan character Blanche and her father Igner.

Speaking of Mom's Sons, I have these two fan babies of my own ;u; I know them as Iggy (Left) and Lars (Right).

Really nice, I really like the interest you have in the three brothers. Your drawings are spectacular and I can't wait for the next one.

That's a question I'd happily answer in my own thread.

I'm asking Lyra a serious question.

I'm not sure actually. I don't think I've ever been asked before, or if I was, I can't remember how I responded. I don't really know what draws me to the characters I like so much. All I know is I like them.

I know there aren't that many of us who are big fans of them. Most of us hid on Tumblr, but I don't think that fandom was what it once was. The evidence is there though.

Thank you, everyone ^.^ Sof, I really love your art too!

Ok, so I admit that this isn't Futurama related (I am working on something though), but I did enjoy drawing it a lot. It was good background practice, and one of the first times I've worked on a drawing without lines.

That's really cool, Lyra :)  Love the rock paintings :)

Annoying pedantic comment from a former amateur astronomer, feel free to ignore. The illumination on your moon is reversed: The lit side of the moon is illuminated by the sun, of course.  And if the moon were low on the horizon and illuminated on that side, th sun would be high in the sky and it would be bright daylight.  But it's a very nice drawing and I like it a lot :)

Ah, sugar. I always try my best to make my drawing as realistic as possible, I'll have to look this up for future reference. I understand what you are saying.

Although this is actually supposed to be set in a fantasy/sci-fi world on an entirely different planet (In fact, the planet is technically a moon itself.). I've no idea how the scientific side is going to come in so far, but I'll have to work something out.

The area drawn is a hollow known as Somnium Abyssi, which is Latin for "Deep Dream."

Looks good. Almost like a cartoon background :)
(And...you know: You could still populate it with Futurama characters should you get in the mood :) )

Perhaps it's not really a moon, but a crescent-shaped space station like Montressor Spaceport in Treasure Planet.

I just called them cave paintings while I was drawing it ^^

I wanted to get the new Tomb Raider game, but I forgot about it until now.

Thank you :)

Ok, so don't laugh at how badly I draw skylines ^^' I never ever draw skylines, this is probably the first time I've ever drawn one digitally. I think all the angles for the buildings look wrong, but it was only a first try.

EDIT: Do you remember the drawing of Waltazar I did? Well I just uploaded a video of the drawing onto YouTube. Found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQpzbNQEJ2Y

You should get it, it's amazing! It's the totem type things hanging down at the cave, look a bit like the game ones.

I think it looks good but no one can get everything perfect, that's why practice makes perfect :)

A re-draw of a drawing I drew near the start of the year.

Also a drawing partly inspired by "Dirty Paws" by Of Monsters And Men. I hadn't drawn nearly all of the animals on this since yesterday. I started it last night but was unable to finish due to the time and my wrists causing me grief. I've been having some trouble with my drawing hand recently.

I still keep a lot of my Futurama art traditional, few of them ever actually make it onto the internet :/

To be honest, I do more Futurama art than I post here. I space out a lot of my uploads.

More randomness from Lyra now.

Because there's two sides to every story, right?

EDIT: Asdfgh I became a Bending Unit! ^.^

Great work, Lyra; I particularly like how you made things a bit transparent on his side.  :)
You might have said this before, in which case I'm sorry for not remembering, but do you also write fanfiction about Mom's sons and your OC?

I do also write fanfictions. I have a large amount of them in progress, and several other original stories, so my progress on all of them is quite slow. Anything I've written on the internet it going to be incredibly old.

Ahaha, yes ;) Thanks!

Alright, so I wasn't sad when I drew this, since quite a few people asked me if I was feeling down. But nope. I just started doodling. Funny how a doodle can become a full drawing so quickly!

But mostly, the treeeees :D I don't think I've ever been proud of my trees before.

<Bob Ross>  "Happy little trees" :)
Great drawing! I was going to ask whether that was a dreamcatcher on the left, then I noticed the title of the image :)

It is a dreamcatcher staff, I like to use them in my drawings. I really love dreamcatchers x3

One day I hope to actually make one. I have a lot of long bamboo poles in my shed, I'd like to do something with them.

The picture of you sitting with the outlines of... well, that looks like Walt from Futurama, and... some sort of... cat-angel hybrid? Whatever it is, I like that picture. Those trees are nice, but what I really like is the "me and my imaginary friends" theme. It captures the beauty of solitude nicely.

I don't comment an awful lot on art threads, etc. But I had to say something about that picture. I think it expresses something hard to put words to, and it does a lovely job.

I appreciate the fact you are drawing fan art for characters that do not get enough love from the fanbase. And it's pretty kickin' if I do say so myself at that.
