I don't think the time period Bart will be coming into the workforce will be as condusive for him to become Homer in the way Homer became Homer. He's more likely to have children from multiple mothers, sell drugs, live with his parents for an extended period of time, and most likely of all have a tremendous amount of difficulty trying to find and hold a job that pays more than minimum wage. He'll become homeless and be found dead in a ditch by his mid 30s.
I never did like how the show portrayed Bart as he got older. While he isn't book smart and a bit of a troublemaker, he's not beyond bettering himself because he has (reluctantly) been shown to be a good person when push came to shove, most notably with Lisa. Here's a quick version of my version of events between the current show and when Bart's 34: In my version of the future, Bart gets his wish--a little brother--but it came at the cost of Marge having to become employed to support the extra child which left Bart and Lisa having to give up some of their childhoods to help babysit Maggie and Eric. After a few years of being responsible, Bart gets an overnight janitor job at a KBBL radio and the night DJ teaches Bart how to record commercials and run some of the equipment. By the time Bart is 19, he's the overnight DJ and because of his quirky, sarcastic personality, he's gets the morning show spot when he's 22. At age 24, Bart marries his longtime friend Gina Venetti and within 10 years they have three children. Unfortunately, the good times didn't last as the now KBXL is downsized and Bart looses his job to a syndicated DJ, but is sent to retraining to be assistant to the director of programming, who happens to be the owner's 20yr, d-bag nephew. By the time Bart is 34 (pictured above) his life is stuck working in cubes, hates his job and his wife is annoying, his kids don't respect him, and he thinks Gina might be cheating on him...

Interesting. And it reminds me that I have an eNORMous backlog of animation to watch. Given that I've not watched hardly anything beyond Akira and a few assorted eps from shows on Adult Swim, that would make it a GInormous backlog, I guess.
