And I like the idea of making it Futurama colors. It shouldn't be hard to get 4 colors out of the logo:



Dark blue, light blue, yellow, and red?

Cheers thats a great idea, Googzeez, thanks for pointing that out futz will change one for someone else. Lisa is one of the robots that Bender meets on the island, she has to keep her water supply constantly going lol

Also what is the best site to get high quality good images of lots of futurama characters, have been using Infosphere for some but not all are great quality.

Whenever I post an image for the framegrab captionbox thread, I put in an actual Futurama disc and make a screengrab in realtime.

But that's pretty labor intensive. Maybe you could talk to what's-his-butt. The guy who is working on a Futurama group picture with every character. He might have suggestions.

I think google is the best option... Or the futurama wiki. Oh, and if you're making extra card to, you should totally do one with Clawplach(or however you write that) super awsome:3

Cheers Madcapper will have a look at that link, I have 75 good pics but for some of the lesser known ones I only have small pics at the moment. Good idea Eternium, will swap the second Fnog for Randy.

Also do you all think I should definitely include power cards, like a Can of Slurm for example?

The other thing you could possibly do is instead of actual screen grabs get some fan art. It's usually higher res then the show itself, or alternative get a Blu Ray drive and screenshot frames you stop on.

Yh have used fan images for a couple, and standard definition dvds, the quality is so so though.

Yeah don't use the DVD's because when you pause it does not stop on a frame but what was being displayed when you hit pause which usually is in the middle of a few frames. Also DVDs are not 1080 so they're not as good looking.

I mean you had frame pausing on Laserdisc and not DVDs? BluRay did nothing new but added a few extra gigabytes and some Blu stuff and HD. Other then that Laserdisc did everything that BluRay does now.

The Planet Express ship, the Nimbus, Wong Hotel & Casino, Mars U, Slurm, Bachelor Chow, NNYPD, and a whole card dedicated to Bender's shiny metal ass. Just to think of a few.

Holophoner, can of slurm, hover car, phone booth(just to confuse others:)), near death star, doomsday device, 'another one of Fry's dogs', crygenics tube, hover board, baconated orange, coffee, royal cigar, the first planet express ship, dimondillium wire, those mars/moon buggalo's, ~friendship card~ and maybe some other emotion cards...

Some great ideas, will have to set up a list of them soon. Will post the first 5 cards and the stats I have given them, hopefully others can disagree with some and make them more accurate.

Is there room to add a short quote from each character?

Yh the ages are hard or not known for most characters and like MadCapper says quotes could be good I did think of putting one in the middle instead of the age, will change it and see if it looks better with it.

Also maybe a scale of 1-10 would be more palatable then a scale of 1-100 for traits. I personally am scared of big numbers and 100 is a big meanie. 10 is not.

Some of the text blends in too much with the background. Also, the picture of Leela isn't very good. You should get one where her face is more visible, and mouth closed.

Overall though, this is a nice effort. I look forward to seeing them all done.

Cheers, I agree with 6 Intelligence and 7 Laziness, possibly 9 strength although was gonna reserve 9&10s for stronger cards like Crushinator.

Laziness should probably be higher, there aren't many people lazier than Fry on the show. The rest seems solid, though.

I would have said Laziness 9 and intelligence 3. Leadership lower too. Now I sound like a criticising  ass though. Great cards and the design is awesome .

Had a few quotes to choose from for Fry, but that was my personal favourite. Will post Leela next. And boasel it ain't criticising, some of the stats are hard to nail on and is better that I have multiple expert opinions
