@Lauren>I like your pencil sketches.
Especially the wolf has a style like an animation frame. A few, simple lines...but lines so precise, that they capture the characters/object's "essence", so to speak.
Also like the clothing folds on the anime boy.
Keep it up :)

Thank you :D I'm planning on doing some of them on the computer, so they'll turn out with better quality.

Since I've started up drawing again, I struggle with humans. So the Anime boy took me ages to do, even if it is just a little drawing.

Here is the computer sketch of the Anime girl, her eyes look a little weird. If I do this in colour then I'll try and fix the eyes.

Here is a anime couple. Even though it doesn't look like it, it took me over 24 hours to draw the outline (Working with a mouse that didn't want to co-operate) and it took me about a hour to colour it.

Something I quickly drew up, it's not good just like all my other drawings.

I also need a name for the two of them. A girl and a boy name, first and second.

Awww...poor dog :( Sorry to hear that.

On a more technical note: I like the fur structure, and the expression. He has some good-natured look to him.

Yes, the fur structure is great, and I really like the way you've done the hair in the pic above, and especially how the closed eyes were drawn.

Beautiful pics, Sparky, especially on the Retriever - have to agree the fur detail is exquisite! Reminds me very much of my "old girl" as it happens, even down to what appears to be a green collar. Sorry for your loss! :(

Preview of something I'm working on, like the rest of my art, it isn't going to be outstanding so I wouldn't get excited for it.

Thank you Zed 85 and sparkybarky.

Actually no, she's meant to look like she is in the middle of a jumping attack, the colour picture will be posted soon. :D (Which I've flipped around a little bit)

Here is the finished pic. The head looks a little too low down, I would fix it but to be honest, I can't really be bothered, I just want to get some sleep.
The credit for the colour for the top and skirt has to be given to Tweek, thank you. :D

Anyway like I'd said, I've flipped the picture around a bit and added a bit more detail. She is meant to look like she practicing to fight.

Here are two more, I done during the week. They aren't that good but my favourite is of her fighting.

Nice, dynamic pose and perspective, well done :)

As you mentioned you considered her head a tad too low:
How about you just move the "attacking stick" a bit further up. That way, it will look as if she is ducking away from a strike.

So I've took Hein's advice to make the stick closer to her head, so it looks like she's ducking under it. This is also my first time trying to blur, which happens to be just a stick.

Hey, very cool! I liked the (surprisingly quick) boss battle and subsequent death especially, ha.

How long did that take to make?

And I'd imagine the edible parts of the set were fun to, er, "strike" when you finally finished with everything... ;)

About four hours and lots of photos.  I would have spent longer animating the boss battle, but the battenburg was rapidly crumbling and falling apart, so I though I should wrap things up.   I might reshoot it again in the future, with a longer boss fight and ending.

Just ate what's left of the party rings (the brightly coloured, stripy cookies you see in the video).  Yummy.    I'm trying to invite people round because I really don't want to eat the whole set myself.   Plus I picked the cookies and cakes for how interesting they looked, rather then tastiness.    Wasn't too expensive, since I mostly shopped in discount stores for cheap, colourful confectionary.

That video makes me feel impressed and hungry at the same time!

Incidentally, I just woke up from a dream in which I was trying to find a piece of the Triforce in someone's garage after I stayed up until 3 this morning playing The Legend of Zelda on NES.

I'll be there in a jiffy!

I like stop-motion animations. Having now made two (relatively crappy ones) in my life, I can appreciate them vedy vedy much. But I loved them as a kid too. Wallace & Gromit 4 lyfe.

Aw so cute, Spacey! And so...frustrating...nothing sweet in the house to eat. Really good job

Also, Ocarina of Time  (which my husband and I just gave up doing, so frustrating!).

Was it the Water Temple you gave up on, Sparky?

And thank you guys, I'm glad you like it so much!  I showed it to some of my friends, but most of them seemed pretty indifferent.   And if any of you are in London, plz feel free to eat some of all these leftovers.  Just thinking about some of them makes my teeth hurt.

I don't even remember anymore. When I say "I" gave up, that meant, I had to give up watching my husband play when became frustrated and gave up. :laff: With certain video games, I watch my husband play them like they're movies.

I think I'm going to try to find it for PS3 (we had it for the Wii, which is just collecting dust in a spare room), and will convince husband to take it up again.

I only ragequit on Pikmin.   I did almost ragequit on Skyward Sword, because of those damn goddess trials, especially the Din and Nayru ones.   And no Sparky, Zelda is Nintendo only, so you'll have to get a 3ds if you want the latest version of Ocarina of Time.
