So, little update... (what we have here is basically that comics prelude...) Again, for your information: That comic is based on the "Pirates Cartoon" and the "Reset Button Pirates Prequel" TO BE CONTINUED...

I agree with spira, although it should have mentioned rape twice. I like rape.
Blazing Saddles quote. Good to see I'm not the only person who loves that movie.

It is very popular, but I much prefer olive or sesame for my cooking oils.

Howdy. Glad to see you liked the new one that far:) The next image is NOT from the Pirate sequel, but a VIP image of an upcoming cartoon featuring Linda, Morbo and Zapp. (Got nothing to do with the last comic) (I wanted to have the Linda/Morbo/Zapp cartoon online by the weekend, but it may be close. As in the Pirate Cartoon, I use one A2 page to be copied down to A4 for scanning. Means I would have to have that page ready by Saturday morning to get it to the copyshop...but regarding the detail level and what is still to be done, this will be VERY close. It might well be next weekend...). Anyway..as a little appetizer, this cartoons first image VIP (of course, the finished picture will feature the complete background covered with Morbo's ships interior) This might be the first cartoon in which I will use computer effects: I will probably have to turn Morbo and his ship's interior a bit more pale, and slightly frizzy for an "background screen" presence.

Thanks for the positive feedback:) SO MUCH DETAIL..
Well...that image is not even half complete. And I must admit I was going rather for a medium detail level so far in all my cartoons...but sooner or later, the real detailed stuff will come;) I love your Morbo! You're good at drawing everything, but you seem to have a particular talent for aliens of various sorts.
Thanks:) But -based on my own assessment- I think my strength is rather in detailed mass scenes. Well..sooner or later, one of them will follow;) YES. SO STOKED. Love the idea of time paradox duplicates, and your Morbo is excellent.
Hehe...and again Morbo is mentioned. He was in fact not really a big deal...I cold keep really close to the original, and just added a "deeper" (more realisitic) structure, which was a relatively easy deed. So, here is another preview from that cartoon: A shot of the Invasion Fleet Morbo's race did send (I did keep the saucer shape shown in that promo picture, but added some more details. In case none has noticed before: I like details (Probably even more than coffeeBot likes rape ) So, these saucers are rather some kind of big motherships, while I consider the small promo pic saucers as the "starfighter" type.

Thanks:) This is just a part of the pic. The whole picture is drawn in A2, to be copied down to A4 for scanning. The preview is just that picture part that did fit on my A4 scanner, and therefore only 25% of the complete scene Well, as I already stated: The completion of this A2 picture will be the key wether I can finish the Linda/Morbo/Zapp cartoon over the weekend, as Saturday morning is my only opportunity to get to the only copyshop around that has the means for A2->A4 copies. Well...it's Saturday, 1.30 am here in Germany, and right now, I just managed to finish the A2 pic. Okay...I still do have to draw 3 A4 pictures in two days. So, might still be close.... (But the cartoon COULD be on by Sunday evening...)

*Cries* I feel so loved!
Hippie... Well...one quick "Characters only, one Pic" cartoon, as the ones I started with. (In "Raging Bender", Leela kicked an KOed opponent when he was already lying on the ground. For me, that was an action that storywise demanded punishment. And...as there was none in that episode...the job was up to me )

So, as Spira asked for one with Linda and Morbo (and also Zapp was mentioned), I figured that one out. (The third pic took a while ) (Btw...just saw that the forum format is a little small for that third one...you might have to click the pic to view it on imageshack in 100% size, if you wanna see the battle in proper size)

To sum it up in 5 words.. Could that be more epic?! 4 words... Oh My Fucking God! 3 words... That was epic! (or just Oh My God) 2 words.. Jesus Christ 1 word... Wow! Have you ever tried to be a proper comic book artist? I wouldn't care if you worked on a crappy script I would still buy it for the artwork! I love Zapp Cowering on the floor I also like the shading

Good heavens, no. I prefer a job that allows me to earn money (No, to get serious: Drawing is a nice hobby, but I want it to remain a hobby, something to relax). Besides, I do have own stories/settings. I would rather put my own ideas than someone else's in a long comic YES. Hahaha I love it. You just keep getting better and better. Thanks...I have to admit that I do not really "get better" drawing-wise, but just invest more and more time in certain pictures. I can assure you: That space battle was not the end of the line...more detailed mass scenes are possible, and will be done (Not every panel, of course, but from time to time, there will be one ) The next comic will probably hold 4 of those big pictures.... (a view of New New York, a hangar, another space battle (though starfighter based), and...well...a big view of something I will not yet reveal here

So, another two pictures were added to the recent mini comic. (After the two, it will have to be a big A2 page again...means that thing won't see the next big update until next weekend...but I might have 1-2 Halloween cartoons ) (PS: I always wanted to use the "Star Wars snoring scale" in a cartoon.... ) To be continued...

The final panel on this one is great.
Thanks:) I must admit I do not like having to copy settings from the show 1:1, without any room for own interpretation. But with Fry's appartment, there was hardly any choice (it's based on a TLPJF screenshot, btw...). Wanted to finish that new update yesterday evening, but it just got too late (also..I was too lazy ) To be continued...

Thanks for the positive feedback Oh yeah, and this... "Groening's better series"? shame
Good thing I didn't place a "Best series ever" sign under the Family Guy heads ... Edith say: Oh yeah...some may have noticed: The "Headless Horseman" is based on a Warhammer Chaos Warrior. I know he should be a Hessian Mercenary, but I just wanted to have a more medieval/fantasy like look (more details on the armor possible..I like details )

All of this stuff is extremely ace. I love the detail on the Omicronian spaceships, immense work! I have one question, why aren't you drawing the real Futurama comics? Yours are better...

Thanks for the "Yours are better" But I am pretty sure many fans wouldn't like my own interpretation:) Designwise, I was inspired very much by the French Fantasy comics.... So, on new updates this weekend. There has been very little time, and also, Games Workshop released the new Necrons (guess who prefered to build some of these models instead of drawing cartoons ) Oh yeah, but I have not been completely lazy: A little WIP shot of a scene in New New York. Again, it's just the A4 part of an A2 page I could fit onto my scanner....(shown in about final scale): Featuring the Return of the Greatest Fututrama Character EVER, in his new job (there has been a vacancy, if I remember correctly )
