I hope it's better than MIB 2 which was a big steamer...
You can only experience the magic the first time, Otis II was clearly not as special as I, but watched one after the other they both make for an enjoyable experience, doncha' think?

"Who the F.. is this guy supposed to be?", you probably ask. Well, truth be bold, I have no idea either, except that he is the reason why there was no Futurama cartoon yesterday. But there's a funny story behind him: A friend of mine writes for an online-tabletop-magzine. In cooperation with that magazine, a tabletop-miniature producer hosted a contest for one of their games. Task: Design one country (in that case Germany, of course) specific superhero. The winning design will be produced as a tabletop miniature. But -as they were very, very few German entries- my friend asked me yesterday via ICQ wether I could also design such a superhero. "I might try...when's the deadline?" "At 24.00" "Erm....it's 23.00" Well, here I was, having about 1h to go to design and draw a modern time, German superhero. I went for a Thor-like look, but kept him more sinister. A mixture of "Wotan" (German word for Odin) and "Hagen von Tronje" (Who slew Siegfried, and is rather a warrior than a hero.) Oh yeah, btw...if they REALLY should chose that design for production, I also included my little revenge for that deadline. A tabletop-miniature is roughly 30mm tall: So someone will have MUCH fun sculpting that details...

Well...should this guy win the contest, I will get some copies of that miniature. In that case, I would post them here, of course And about little details: We tabletop players and modelmakers are used to them (After finishing this gentleman, I certainly will not take pity on someone having to carve a few small skulls... ). "But (as Monty Python likes to put it) now for something completely different" (An On-Topic Post... ) A little preview for the next cartoon, the ridiculed episode should be obvious Little circular imprints with pentagrams on the robot devils arms and legs were added. Not only beause I did want to add more details, but also for these things giving the arms a more octopus like appearance. And as these animals are sometimes called the "devilfish"..well...it was just TOO fitting for me to ignore that detail

Well...at least you mentioned an episode from the same series, which was probably all I could hope for. So...well done But to get serious, I would like to hear the communities wishes regarding a future cartoon which will spoof "Overclockwise". I identified a proper punchline, but I have two possible ways to reach it: Version a) Happy Ending, Protagonists: Bender, Amy, Supporting Chars: Leela, Fry, Farnsworth, Cubert. Version b) Mean Ending, Protagonists: Fry, Leela, Bender. So, which version do you prefer/sounds more interesting to you?

Blame Babelfish if the translation is bad.
Wouldn't it make more sense to blame the guy USING babelfish ? Well, after a rather manly afternoon yesterday (2h of Boxing, afterwards, seeing the no longer so new "Conan" movie), I did not have time to finish that cartoon yesterday. But I managed to finish it today, so here it is:) My first plot would have involved Fry proclaiming sadly "Should I give up those hands and my career as most famous musician, or should I loose the woman who.." then he remembers all the times Leela has turned him down coldly, still considering, with Leela and the Robot Devil standing there nervously, thinking "This monlog takes a direction I do not like". Well...the punchline would have worked, but I considered it not good enough. I like that "involuntarily wedding" better, hope you share my point of view. Also..I always wanted to have Tinny Tim in a wedding scene So, the "Iron Sky" cartoon covered "The Series has landed", "Scruffy vs. Amazonians" covers "Amazon Women in the mood", "Bender meeting Fry-Bot and Leela-Bot" covers "Rebirth", and this here covers "The Devil's Hands are idle playthings". Four episodes cartoonwise down, and ...well..still some more to go

This is the most stupid punchline I've ever made. I should feel embarrassed for drawing it, and you should feel embarrassed for reading it But this cartoon also has some serious, statistical aspect. By now, every one of the three crewmembers can pilot the ship. Which means: During a space flight lasting several days, they would probably each take a 8h shift. So, when unexpected events occur, it would be a 33% chance of Leela in the pilot seat, 33% with Bender and 33% Fry. Of course, in the show we always see Leela. I always wanted to see them just for once changing shifts, or -when unexpected events occur- Fry or bender in the pilot seat, calling the other two to the bridge. Well..of course this whole intro is just supposed to distract/confuse the reader, that he/she doesn't immediatelly suspect that the punchline will result in...well...the same old youknowwhat...

Ouch. If it’s any consolation, I like your style of drawing the characters. And bonus points for the handcuffs: always bonus points for handcuffs.

HA! Found it (by random chance, it was in a wrong DVD Box. Considering my rather big collection, that was just dumb luck ) Okay...I'm in a good mood right now. The first one asking for supporting char to be ridiculed will get that character in a future cartoon (Zapp Brannigan, Linda, Morbo cannot be nominated, because they are already planned for future "releases". Also Scruffy, because he already got his big appearance...and neither Emperor Grog, for he will probably return for a longer cartoon anyway)

Howdy everyone:) These are the first images of a longer cartoon (well...the word mini-comic might rather be in order): It will be a sequel to "Pirates" Cartoon as well as to the "Emperor Grog: Reset Button" Prequel: TO BE CONTINUED...(You also do not have to worry to having to skip through the thread for a complete version later: When new images are shown, I will also repost the old ones that one post will feature the complete comic...) The next update on that comic will reveal the button buyer's identity...

I'm guessing it's Nudar.
Yeah, would be the obvious choice But...completely wrong I won't name that character, but I will name one minor character that will make her first guest appearance in one of my cartoons: Heather (No, she also will not buy that button )
