PAST-O-RAMA! My very dirty little secret...

Yes, I want to reveal something to you guys today. As you can see, I haven't really been on this forum much lately. That's because I've joined a forum for another animated series. I've been spending the past 3 or so months writing an elaborate fanfiction for this animated series. Being the Futurama fan I still am, I decided to do a sort of crossover of the two.

Also, I'm writing this fanfiction as a TV series! That's right, I'm writing lots of episode scripts for it! You can read through these and imagine your actually watching it!

The Futurama influence has basically been the Professor coming over to this universe (Or at least a character named The Professor, who acts a lot like him, though might come off as a little toned down to you guys)

I've done 19 episodes for this series so far, and hope to do a lot more, as It's a lot of fun to write, I think my writing is actually getting for hilarious and Futurama-like now, and there's some people following it and enjoying it.

I've said all of this, without even revealing what this other animated series is. That's because if I told you ahead of time, I'd probably get shot! So anyway, this fanfiction is the Professor going back in time to....

Yeah, it's really tragic. I didn't know about it myself till just a few months ago.

I'm not a troll. If I was, I wouldn't have wasted three months of my life by writing this fiction in the first place.

I'll admit that this is like 90% LBT. Maybe someday I'll write a proper Futurama/LBT crossover, where the whole Planet Express crew gets dragged along. Written in the style of a Futurama episode or movie. Would anyone have even a SLIGHT interest in that? :b

Never watched a single LBT, never liked the looks of it, I don't find Dinosaurs and that period of the Universe's history that interesting either.

It's not that good really so I wouldn’t bother, I mean I can't remember much of it, but I guess that just goes to show that it's not that good...

The first film is an animation classic and I strongly recommend you see it if you haven't. The sequels are great if you're 6 or younger.

The crossover between Futurama and Lost In Space has yet to be written.  After Leela and the crew help the Jupiter II get back to Earth, then we can move on to the Futurama and Josie and the Pussycats crossover, with special appearances of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Hit-Girl, Abby Ayers (Let Me In), the group of ABBA and The Miz.

Of special interest will be when Leela and Buffy are on stage singing ABBA songs while Bender is stealing from the audience so the PE crew can get enough money to buy black market Dark Matter from The Grays so the PE ship can take the PE crew home.

Oh wait, it's probably already been done...

It's an interesting premise.  Glad to see that it's still being worked on.  What other forum are you spending your time on?  I don't usually consider the newsgroups forums though, I guess.

Such as posting one-sentence snide remarks at other people (on a messageboard devoted to a science-fiction cartoon that was once cancelled but has now been resurrected) who have invested time and effort into doing something that is beyond the scope of the imagination of said detractors?

Anybody who is here on a regular basis can't really claim to have much of a life, Bianca. That includes you. Unless you do something that would make every single PEELer foam at the mouth with pure jealousy when you're not PEELing, of course. I'm not ruling out that you might be a dinosaur-riding armoured car robber in your AFK time.

NB: I'm not defending this fanfic or the writer of it at all. Just trying to point out to Bianca the absurdity of her statement given the context. This fanfic is terrible both in premise and execution (and that's all I'll say on that matter).

But I don't put much effort into very many things that I do anyway, unlike this guy, where he has clearly been putting in a lot of effort into this thing when he could be putting the exact same amount of effort into something that would be considered more worth while.

Answering Winna from a few posts back, I'm much only one the LBT board that fanfiction is posted on, and this place, though I've been mostly a lurker for the past year or so here.

A funny thing about this story is apparently my "Professor" is a lot different from the Professor from Futurama. Someone that's been following my story told me he thought I was going for more of a mix between Doctor Who and Doc Brown.

Has anyone here actually looked at this? Just wondering.
