For some reason, it seems to be a common mistake
When I opened my threat, I also gave it the less meaningful title "My Futurama Cartoon(s)", when MssFuturama opened hers, is was "My Gallery", etcetcetc...

So..it seems each of us is an egocentric, bad person who cannot imagine that there are other artits around expect him/herself

But as I also wanted to comment on your picture.
I like Leelas posture in combination with her facial expression. The body language seem to say "I'm realxing right now". While the mouth seems a tiny bit tense, which makes her look now as if she is TRYING to relax, but has certain stuff on her mind that keeps her busy.
(Or was that just an overinterpretation on my part? Heck...even if it is, you can still say "Erm..yeah, yeah, right...that was EXACTLY what I was going for" )

Shoot, Demeter! Even I had this problem and my thread is clearly marked "Professor Zoidy's Art Thread". Gotta have at least one misunderstanding per thread it seems.

Now, to your art. Simple, but ample. I wish there was an abstract background, as I think it'd be stronger for it. Leela's upper arm feels a bit out of proportion but Hell, I can't ever get it right myself so why am I griping about it to you? I agree with Hein in that she feels a tad rigid, but it's on the right path. The facial expression (as always) is top-notch. If you are anything like I am you focus on the face and basically say "fuck it" to the body.

It's nice how the image is basically "colour only", yet your characteristic linework is still shining through

I also like your ambigous facial expressions.
As stated before, the previous image shows Leela relaxed, yet with a tense note around the mouth.
In this pic, the complaint seems more like something Leela says because she is expected do/to be professional at work, yet the facial expression/demeanor has some "but don't you REALLY dare to stop taking pics and losing interest" aspect.
(Maybe I am just reading too much into it, but -I repeat myself here- I really like those not completely defined/ambigous expressions you incorporate on your characters )

HIGHasFRY - the inspiration was actually a contest to do a piece of art, based on a graphic novel. The novel in question is Sebastian Hawks, a 1910's adventurer. Think James Bond and Indiana Jones had a baby.

Background is a treated photo, I wish I could draw backgrounds like that. As for the land-piranha It's based on an angler fish.
