You made a small mistake where you put furries in it, but otherwise great work.
You're still on the upward curve you lucky bastard; each pic you do looks better and better. Me, I'm on the downward slope.

You just hate furries, don't'cha? It's for a weekly anthro contest over at dA so...kinna needed to be furry.

And thanks, I'm glad you think I'm good. I like your style, too. You're no worse than me. You just have a totally different and unique style.

My beautiful friend Kim coloured my lines on this one. Give her your praise:

http://capsize-beautiful.deviantart.com/art/Hellboy-VS-Raphael-124728511

Sweet picture.  The subject is totally rad!!  I'd never considered who would win in that fight before. ...

I was out of doing art for a year and a half. Then I drew all of these with a biro between March and June of this year...

...

Voodoo is back! I thought that was a neat project when you first started drawing him Otis. B)

School is basically over so I am pretty much back, hopefully for longer than a day. :) I made this yesterday in about three hours. Maybe I'll color it, maybe not, whatever.

I was bored and used perspective lines and actual geometry to give the illusion of depth. Who knew geometry came in handy?

Good perspective shot.  I really like seeing images of empty places, makes me feel all cozy inside.

Yo.

I need to get some more Futurama inspiration again. COME ON NEW EPS!!!

Gargoyles!!!  I really like this picture, not necessarily because it's Gargoyles, but because of what the image invokes.  A wandering mind late at night by himself deep in thought and alone... I often find myself doing feeling in such a manner.

Lol, doodles!  They're decent Books.  You should keep sketching... imagination will set you free!!

I've thought a lot about this for a long time, and there's... absolutely no redeeming features in this pic. But it's my baby 'n' I love it!

Work in progress pic, background has yet to be lined. Comments, opinions, pitying looks always welcome! ;)

Nice work! Who's she telling to get out, Fry or Bender?

And there can never be enough peanut smuggling! ;)

Looks like she's just had a boob job though, she's quite a bit bustier than normal.

Marcus - awesome!
Just shrink the iris slightly and it'll look exactly like a Groening. At the moment you've got a bit of a Disney thing doing on in the eye. All it is is the size of the black dot.

(I say this, though my own attempts to emulate Groening have always ended up looking like something from The Far Side.)

Cheers guys! :D Coldy, nice to see you're still alive and kicking round here; I'll frame your 'awesome' and hang it on my wall for when I get cold ;) And you're right, Leela does look a little over-dilated there, I'll edit that when I'm colouring.

Like pupils, boobs are also prone to expansion - but in this case, it was because a full-frontal, clothed figure doesn't look particularly busty unless you exaggerate it _heavily_. So I did :P

Books - lol, yeah! I line characters seperately from backgrounds; and with this being my first pic of the year, I got over-proud and posted a rough draft too early... but you can see where it's going...

...I think I know, lemme check with my little sister, Lisa. Oh, wait - she's... occupied. Damn, those 34 Rules governing bathroom rights were Drawn up in favour of the fairer Sex...

too coy?! And while we're sidebarring, pic was actually inspired by an old Jab pic, I think :)

Minor alterations, plus a little colouring and shading to the shameless pointless pic. Started on the background, but can't really be bothered completing it, lost feel for it :hmpf: But quite happy with a relatively onmodel Leela :)

Tedward I just didn't have any idea what I was looking at. A kid approaching something from a hentai? Never played any Zelda games. Wouldn't know the first thing. It's got nice colours though.

Oh, that's all right. It's my representation of that game's rather surreal final battle in which young Link must face a mask's demonic incarnation that uses its tentacles as whips, knocks those spinning eyeball tops around,  has a terrifying high-pitched shriek and...I don't know. The game's a strange one. My friend will certainly like this painting though.

Anyway, thanks for commenting (and for the compliment)! I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't disappointed that no one had any comments at all since pretty much everything that gets posted in this thread sees several comments. I didn't think that this would be too "weird," but thanks for letting me know.

Well, I know from experience that painting is hard. But you've managed to make it all pretty solid, the characters especially. It's good work.

...Do you do any FF7 art? :)

Thank you again.

I have not done any art relating to Final Fantasy, mainly because I've never played any Final Fantasy and don't know very much about it. However, from what I've seen I do like the visual style that it has; I just wouldn't want to draw or paint something from it if I didn't really know anything about the subject.

You can always use a picture reference and work your way around it. You don't have to know everything about a certain subject.

That's how you get paid as a freelancer ;)
