Yeah but songfic... that seems like it would take forever... and it doesn't explain how you get all those merged colours and textures... You do it manually? I don't think I have the patience for that.

lol When I first started getting really detailed in my art, it would take me HOURS. Like 10+ hours. I would sometimes do that in one sitting. But, you pick up new techniques and you learn short cuts so it can take half the time.

And I'm only a furry to the extent of I draw, mainly, anthro stuff. No, I don't think I'm a tiger and NO I do not have sex with stuffed animals that vibrate. Even I find that part of the fandom sickening.

As for Furronika, I'm not lying when I state that PEEL would self-destruct if he placed any of his art here (even the Futurama-themed art would make PEEL melt down - we won't even mention his other art-forms - let's just say that Furronika is the uber-Furry.)

And I know of at least three closet Furries on this board.  I wouldn't be surprised if they get in contact with you over the next few days.

This doesn't look like much yet, but I'm having a very talented lady friend of mine tackle the colouring duties.



It's Hellboy fighting a Ninja Turtle, obviously.
Kim Kresan's way better at colouring than I am, since I'm such a linear sort of fellow. She provided her skills for some of my lines once before, if you'll recall.

Not sure why, but the way you drew Raph looks like the same technique used for Aeon Flux. Not saying its a bad thing or that you ripped it off or nothing. Just saying it reminds me of it. Looks good.

Here's my latest shindig...Old sketch from about 6 months or so ago and colored tonight. Hey Coldy... took 4 hours

Do you know how long it took me to learn my mad ass skillz with photoshop? It took YEARS. But I also wasn't happy with my coloring when I first started so I scour for tuts and the like, even now. If you're happy with your coloring style, don't change it.

I'm not, but I can't be fucked. I don't even like colouring - I'm a sketcher. I only add colour to these things because of Internet expectation. And if I worked at a comicbook company there'd be another person doing the colours.
