Finally, a finished piece! The real Leela (R) and her robot duplicate (L) both get aerial as they fight over which one of them gets Fry.

Thanks to Assistant Crone at Simpworks for some tips on dynamicism.

It's the head/body proportions. To get around that I'd have to show more of them, but to do that would be showing Fry's butt, and I ain't going there.

I actually think you'd just need to widen Fry's shoulders slightly as well as drop the line defining his back lower.

I also think it's the shoulder ratio.
The male/female shoulder width difference is normally more then obvious (with Fry and Leela being not so anatomically unusual, that they would fall out of that pattern).
Also..when I look at your Fry's arms, he holds them (in regard to his ellbows) rather broad (at least the right one) , which should widen his shoulders even more. Leela, on the other hand, pushes her shoulders up, squeezing them together, so that she in turn narrows her shoulders even more.

So, to cut a long story short: With the male widening his shoulders, and the female narrowing hers,  Fry should be quite a bit broader round the shoulders than Leela.

But as I do not wish to make a post containing only bickering (or "constructive criticism", which is about the same, but just sounds friendlier )

"Suspicious" was just a joking reference to the fact that you posted your image two days after I posted my cartoon in which Fry's face ends basically in the same place. Just some joking, and a by no means serious meant "accusation" that you "stole" my idea  
(I'm quite sure you started working on your pic more than two days ago )

Haven't draw anything (that I can post here  ) for a while, but this wee sketch, showing Amy, Leela, and Fry in DOOP Navy Dress White uniforms. For a fic being written by a friend in another forum...



Amy and Leela, due to their respective skills, both get into Officers Basic School and are wearing Ensign's stripes on their sleeves, but Fry wears no rank as a Spaceman Recruit.

Very nice, El Man. Quite fitting to give Fry the most comical attire. I like that you've made the uniforms unique, but have kept within the Futurama universe's fashion stylings.

I like how their uniforms fit their personalities but are still uniformy (that's a word now). Nice job.
