I am after a "Sweet Zombie Jesus!" .wav file , as quoted by Professor Farnsworth ... without background music and/or sound FX.

Is there something like this in existence on the web?

Thanks.

Sounds like "The Deep South" to me.

It was in "The Deep South".

When I did a search on "sweet zombie jesus futurama" I found some very anti-Futurama revue by some nutter

Thanks for your help.

However, I tried opening that MP3 link and kept getting this message

Cannot open 'http://crayz.dyndns.org/audio/jesus.mp3'.  Please verify that the path and filename are correct and try again.
Any other place I could look?

I can recall Farnsworth saying "Sweet Zombie Jesus" in more than one episode ... but I live in the unluckiest country on the planet (Australia), free-to-air-TV-wise, where Futurama has not been screened since early-to-mid 2000, so please excuse me if anything I say in this forum is incorrect.

I will have access to broadband next week, so I hope to download an episode or two. Anyone know where?

They seemed just as mad at

That MP3 sounds like Professor Farnsworth is trapped inside a cheesy sound effects generator.

I came across a similar fundamentalist anti-futurama/anti-democrat article once. Stupid republicans.

On the Season Two DVDs there's a deleted scene from 'The Deep South' in which Professor Farnsworth talks about Zombie Jesus in his sleep.

WOW! I can't believe I'm the first one to say this. Professor also exclaimed, "Holy Zombie Jesus" in "Bender Gets Made" when they get the bill. In yo face! [dances]

Oh Your God! I actually know that guy! His name is L. Brent Bozell III, and he's in charge of some incredibly stupid conservative watchdog group for TV. I first heard about him when he tried to picket old World Wrestling Federation events, because they probably weren't 'pro-family'. If I also remember correctly, Vince McMahon (CEO of WWF) actually sued him and won quite a bit, under the charge of driving away business.   :laff:

Anyone notice that Cartoon Network has editted out the word "Jesus" when Farsnworth yells "Holy Zombie Jesus!"?

Only reason I can think of is to boost the sale of that episode's season DVDs to people in chat groups like this.

Hey, I can't say I agree with the exclamation either, but I'm willing to overlook it. As they should be.
They do censor it on Cartoon Network and TBS, which is about the only place in the US that it's still broadcast, so what's the problem?
