Although we've been blessed to have new artists come to the Futurama family since I joined in 2005 (greats like Archonix, Demeter, Coldangel to name a few), I was hoping that the release/escape of the BBS DVD would bring FemJesse and TheVoices back for a couple more pics.
I guess both have moved on. Despite losing them, I do want the people who continue to contribute and the new fans we've picked up know that I appreciate them.
Thanks for sharing with the rest of us.
And there's no April Fool's crap in any of that.

I've never been in contact with The Voices but have shared a few e-mails with FJ. Over the past year she's let her e-mail addy become unused and she posts very irreguarly on her DeviantArt account. Real life and getting started making a name and life for yourself when you're in your early 20's will do that to people. I did have to feel for her when she posted on her DeviantArt account last month that her beloved pet cat had to be put down after being with her for 16 years.
I do wish her and TheVoices a great life and hope the future is bright for both, but it would be nice to see a 'hello' - they wouldn't have to do any art - just to hear from them again.
But the world continues to spin, one thing that doesn't change is change, so if we've lost them, good luck but I still want our new contribitors to know that they are appreciated.

Coldy is a great example of somebody who put his own design on the Groening characters and ended up with something superior to the original idea. I know the catcalls and caterwalling would be deafening, but it would be nice to see an episode with the characters based on Coldy's artistic design. A man can dream, can't he?

I'd love to see an anime take on Futurama too.

Furronika's style makes Leela a tad too muscular. No that that's bad, but at times her head can begin to look too small for her shoulders.
SpaceCoyote's Leela looks fantastic, though.

Xanfor, you surprise me. You actually know about Furronika and his Futurama art.
There's more of his art of Leela floating out and about. The pieces that people have seen have been blindly submitted to TTPs, so there is no way to contact him.
Yes, his style does make Leela muscular, but his style takes into account almost every aspect of anatomy, positioning, shadowing and shading.

Your work is as great as ever, oh great Cold-one. After some searching, I finally found the image I wanted. Strictly speaking, it isn't anime, but it's still a darn fine piece of work: Sadly, I was unable to determine who's responsible the maker of this artwork. One I rediscovered whilst searching: And another by SpaceCoyote: One little nitpick: Zoidberg has 4 tentacles, not 6...
