This is my first fanfiction ever. Constructive criticism is most welcome.

How to Win a Fry- Chapter 1.

Fry finished playing the ending to the opera that he wrote as the last way he was going to try to win Leela’s heart. He’d be crushed if it didn’t work but not surprised in the least. Over the last 4 years he’d done so much to show Leela just how much she meant to him by; losing his spleen to protect her from the deadly, deadly stinger of a Space Bee (which admittedly didn’t work out exactly as he had hoped but he tried anyway), he chose Leela over going back to the past to be with his family, reuniting Leela with her parents and just like 10 minutes ago her gave up fame and fortune by giving the Robot devil back his hands so that Leela didn’t have to marry him (and that was just to name a few). He couldn’t get over the fact that Leela chose to date jerks like Chaz, Adlai Atkins, and Alkazar for God’s sake she’d even slept with Zapp Brannigan. He knew that she regretted dating all of then but he couldn’t get over the fact that she wouldn’t even give him a chance. “Leela,” he finally spoke after about five minutes of silence. “Do you remember when I said that after the opera I was going to as you out?”

“Yeah, I remember. Fry, I know that you were hoping I’d say yes but I don’t know,” Leela replied. She felt horrible for doing this to Fry especially after all he’s done for her, going up his hands that made him famous just so she didn’t have to marry the Robot Devil. But she needed time to organize her emotions and figure out just how she felt about Fry. “Fry, I know how much you’ve done for me over the last four years but I really need time to think and figure out some stuff.”

Fry stood on the stage he could feel his heart breaking right there as Leela rejected him once again. He couldn’t stand it any longer. He had to get away from Leela, from his feelings for her. He just wanted to run away to never speak to her again. “Leela, I gave up so much just to protect you and you wont even give me a chance. You gave Adlai Atkins a chance after how he treated you growing up and he only dated you when you had two eyes. You almost married Alkazar even though you knew he was a jerk. Hell, you even slept with that pompous jackass Zapp Brannigan because you felt sorry for him!” Fry yelled letting his emotions take him over. “But yet you wont even give a chance to the one guy who has accepted you for the way you are, been your best friend for four years, who has done so much for you. The only time you ever really liked me was when I had those worms that made me your dream man. Leela, I never want to talk to you again unless it’s something for Planet Express!” And with those words Fry stormed out without even a glance back at Leela who had collapsed onto a chair crying realizing that she had lost her best friend.

Buh Buh Buhhhhh!

Pretty good, I mean the Devil's Hands fan-fic is pretty common but I'm looking forward to where this is going.

Yeah I know that the Devil's Hnads fics are pretty common but I started writing while I was bored nothing was even planned. Maybe that's why I fail all my essays for school. Instead of planning I wing it. Hmmm, I've given my self alot to think about.

Decently done, and I await more from this story. It's a common thing to have a basic plan and not really plan out the details. I do that all the time, and it seems to work for me...most of the time anyways. Try finding a place that helps you think up ideas. The unusual ones work best. I'd suggest a closet for starters.  :laff: I take full credit if that works.  :p

@Prof Zoidy: If working in a closet works you can have all the credit.

This story probably wont get an update for a few days. I have my 17th birthday on Sunday and a family reunion that just has to be in a town that gets no internet(Oh how will Melissa live not being able to get her daily does of Futurama-ry goodness?). And here's what really sucks the reunion has to be on my birthday.

Sorry for the rant. I'll work on the story while I'm gone. I hope for an update early next week.

Happy birthday then.  :D I may also suggest using the bathroom as a thinking place. Brushing your teeth or washing your hair works to get ideas sometimes...or you can just look in a mirror at yourself for a while and forget why you even went in there in the first place. Oh my yes.
