I got it back (the computer, that is) and I have a short chapter of the fanfic, where jle makes her first appearence (go you!), enjoy;

Fry walked along his apartment floor, it was 4:00 in the afternoon and he was anxious of the fact that in less than 3 hours, he would be on a coffee date with his dream girl. He was already dressed, washed and not in the right frame of mind to be under the pressure that he was to be perfect for Leela, he didn’t want to screw it up, like all the other times he’d ever been in a romantic situation with her. There was a knock at the door, which was answered by Bender, she looks familiar thought Fry … Oh right it’s Leela… Leela! What’s she doing here so early? her mascara was smudged with tears, and Fry could see a glimmer of hope in her eyes, but it was overpowered by the wash of betrayal that had formed in her expression. She ran across the room to Fry when she hugged him, sat down on his bed and explained everything from the beginning…
“…So, two hours ago I went to meet him in the park, like we said, and, when I got there, he was… Well the park was abandoned, so I could see it from the gates, but I was curious, so it didn’t stop me… there were cages, with rare aliens inside of them, but of course I know now that I’m a mutant so I walked on and asked him, ‘What the hell are you doing’, then, out of the corner of my eye, I see a girl behind Lennon, pull out a ray gun, and the next thing I know, everything’s gone, Lennon, the girl, the cages and all. The only thing that was left was a few test results and a stinging pain in my eye…” There was a long silence as Fry and Leela stared at each other, mortified by this so called ‘smart, kind, pretty boy’.
Fry broke the silence, by pulling on his jacket, and walking out the apartment, “Come on Leela, this guy obviously did something to you, and I’m not gonna just stand by and let it keep on happening… to anyone”
Leela followed him and tried to capture an image in her brain of what had happened;
There was a girl, standing with a smirk on her round face, her hair was short, blonde, and she wore glasses, with a ray gun in the pocket of her cargo pants, and cages filled with aliens all around her, she looked as though she’d just stepped out of some sort of distorted action film. Lennon was with her, stepping towards Leela, a twisted grin on his striking face, the girl pulled out the ray gun, it was on stun… dark, very dark, nothing… blurry… test results all around, the cages, the people, the aliens, all gone.
She still didn’t understand what the hell was going on, but she still kept on, hoping that Fry knew what he was doing.

I am so sorry fo the double post, but I have some fic related news. I havn't been able to update for a few days because of a 3 day blackout, and now, we're havin an extension during February, so no update (or me on PEEL) for a couple of months then, so, should I try to do my fic (2:5) ASAP, or after the extension...?

The blonde haired girl stepped onto platform 5 of the hover-train station. Clutched in one hand was a crumpled piece of paper, the writing was smudged, so the only words that anyone could make out were; “Exp-ri-e-t 15255 ... re--lt: neg--ive”. She stood there as though she was waiting for something, after 7 minutes she sighed, muttered something barely audible and continued onto the train.

Leela watched as Fry walked confidently down the street, they’d been walking for hours now, and Fry’s determination was as strong as ever, Leela found this was one of the reasons, apart from the fact that Lennon was probably a criminal who was out to get her, that she preferred Fry over him, in fact, she had started to like him quite a lot... At this point, he stopped and sat in the middle of the road. When Leela was nearer to him, she saw that his eyes were closed in deep concentration. ’Where would I go if I were a supposed criminal...’ he thought solemnly... Suddenly, Fry’s eyes opened and a grin emerged over his face, before yelling “Of course! Victoria Circuits!”
“Errm, Fry, why would he go in there?” questioned a slightly perplexed Leela,
“I dunno I just always wanted to know what was inside...”

’Ahh, Victoria Circuits, now to find me a new hot robot... Bender sat down on a bench outside the shop, and winked at the passers by... he noticed, though,  one stood out the most... ’What? Why the hay is that dude Leela’s all gaga over goin’ in my favourite, errm, hangout...?’ Before he could think of an answer to his own question, he noticed Fry and Leela dashing towards him, a sombre atmosphere surrounding them.
“Bender, have you seen Lennon anywhere?” asked Leela, resolutely.
“Depends on how much you willin’ to pay up for a decent answer...”
At this aggravating remark, Leela grabbed Bender by the shoulders, pulled him towards her, and firmly told him that if he didn’t tell them at that precise moment where the so called criminal was, he would be smoking through a hole in his chest box from then onwards. Bender was slightly taken aback by this, Leela had obviously returned to her old self, and so promptly told them where he last seen Mr. Booker.
“Told ya!” smirked Fry.

The hover-train hadn’t started up yet, some excuse about there being technical difficulties was flying around the place. ’At least,’ thought the blonde girl ’Mister Lennon will have more time to get here with the new accomplice.’ The ticket guy was coming round now. The girl panicked, her and Lennon had agreed to hide in the bathroom at the time that he came round, but it was too late...
“Ticket, lady?”
“Errm... has anyone ever told you that you have beautiful eyes...?” she asked hopefully.
“No, but that ain’t gonna stop me from asking where your ticket is.”
“Well, you see, the thing about that is... I don’t have one”
“Really, now. Well, tell me your name and maybe, just maybe, I’ll let you off...” he said with a wink
“Oh, well... It’s Checkland... I mean Juliet. Juliet Checkland”
“Okay Juliet Checkland... you’re off the hook. Here.” He said, handing her a piece of paper on it. No, it didn’t have a number on it. It had the words ‘I know who you are. Who you are and what you’re up to. You can’t escape.’ Juliet’s eyes were abruptly filled with fear and confusion. How did he know? And where the heck was Lennon?
