You lot  have no trust in my judgement.

Fry isn't frowning on Amy because Leela's the one who tried to hide it, not trusting Fry.

Fry isn't elated because, one Leela said she loved him, two she was going to hide what had happened between he and Amy.

If Leela got stressed enough and Amy got upset enough then I don't see why they couldn't get drunk, thus resulting in a slight error of judgment.

THis fic is Fry/Amy for a few reasons, one it's a challenge to me, two I'm actually enjoying writing it, three I'm interested in what might happen if Leela didn't go out with Fry, and four, can you imagen how lonly Amy must get with Kif away all the time, I wanted her to have some fun.

By letting Amy have some fun you meen destroying her life,Kif's life, their kids' lifes,Leela's life,Fry's life, Joey's life(Fry's identical hand twin) and even Bender's life(dont know why)
The fic's good but by making it end like that you wont make enyone happier then by killing Fry in your other fic(thank God you m,ade the gun be on stun)

Actually there's an Amy-slash-Leela cartoon/fic on another website that's a little more, um, involved.

I'm liking this.  I kinda like seeing Leela's holier-than-thou standards being thrown in her face.

By making Fry and Amy get together the only people who could get upset would be Leela and Kif, and I have plans to make sure they stay happy. And the kids are Leela's anyway really so they don't count.

Thanks Ralph, I enjoyed writing about Leela's standard getting thrown in her face coz it leaves no reason for her to turn down Fry

Update  :evillaugh: This is gonna be good, just don't flame me for it.

Chapter seven
Leela glared harshly at Amy, clenching her hands into tight fists.
“You idiot! You promised me you’d never tell anyone about that!” Leela yelled, advancing on Amy. Amy shook slightly but stood her ground, defiantly staring Leela straight in the eye.
“If you really loved Fry you would have been honest and told him yourself, coz when you love someone you don’t keep secrets,” explained Amy, her voice shaking violently. Leela stopped advancing and smirked.
“Is that so, you don’t keep secrets?” she sneered. Amy just stared at Leela, until she suddenly clicked onto what Leela meant.
“Oh God no, that’s not what I meant Leela,”
“You love Kif right? So surely you have to tell him about you and Fry,”
“There is no me and Fry, one night, it was a mistake!”
“Yeah, but I love Fry and you told him about our mistake, maybe I’ll call up Kif and tell him about your mistake.”
“You wouldn’t!”
“I will!” stated Leela, making a move towards the vidiphone.
“Wait!” screamed Amy, “Stop, what do you want me to do? Anything, just don’t tell Kif!”
“Too late hussy! You lost that bargaining chip when you told Fry about the incident!” shrieked Leela, dialling the Nimbus’s number. It rang once, twice, and then it was picked up, Zapp’s face appearing on screen.
“Ah, sensuous lady Leela…”
“Shut up Zapp, I need to talk to Kif,” stated Leela calmly. Zapp’s normal self satisfied grin fell from his face.
“Wouldn’t you rather discuss cham-pag-ne and a meeting with the big Zapper,” he winked.
“The only thing big about you is your ego, now get Kif,” ordered Leela, with Amy shaking her head desperately in the background. Zapp shrugged his shoulders dejectedly.
“Fine, but you’ll come crawling back to me one day, I mean it!” whined Zapp.
“Yeah right, whatever you say Zapp, now hurry up and get Kif, I don’t have all day,”
“Kif! Get over here, and hurry up you useless sack of bones.”
“Actually sir, I’m supported by fluid filled bladders,” replied Kif monotonously.
“That’s why you will never become a Captain, you flaunt your weaknesses. Hurry up and talk to Leela so I can carry on seducing her,”
“Leela?” questioned Kif
“Yes, it’s me Kif; I have something very important to tell you,” said Leela hurriedly, moving herself so she blocked Amy from view.
“What, is something wrong with Amy?” panicked Kif.
“Oh no, Amy’s fine. So fine that she slept with Fry last night after you left,” said Leela, moving so Kif could see Amy looking thoroughly ashamed of herself.
“I…Amy is it true?” asked Kif, Amy didn’t answer and her silence was enough.
“Why? Oh why did you do it Amy, is my love not enough for you?” sobbed Kif. Amy looked at her feet.
“I’m sorry Kif, it just happened,” stammered Amy.
“It just happened? Why Amy? What drove you into his arms?”
“I was lonely and he was upset, and I don’t know what else,”
“Oh woe, my love is not enough to carry you through the nights; you are driven to another man,”
“It was just once Kif,”
“Once is enough, if you can do it once you can do it again,”
“I wouldn’t!”
“You already did, I’m sorry Amy but I just don’t think I could trust you again.”
“Kif!”
“Goodbye Amy,” said Kif sorrowfully, walking off screen.

“Terminate call,” said Leela triumphantly, turning to a teary eyed Amy, “Now we’re even,”
Amy slow wiped her eyes, leaving behind a smear of mascara, and glared at Leela.
“Even? You think we’re even! You’ve wrecked the two best relationships I ever had, and you think we’re even!” she screamed.
“I can understand you think I wrecked you and Kif, but what other relationship of yours did I ever wreck?”
“Me and Fry! I was happy, I was secure, I had everything I wanted, and then you have to be there in the picture!”
“I did not wreck you and Fry, he just wasn’t ready for commitment!”
“Like hell he wasn’t! He was ready to stay married to you in the time skips, until you threw it in his face! You don’t care about anyone but yourself!” spat Amy.

Amy suddenly found herself on the floor, courtesy of Leela’s fist in her face.
“Don’t you talk about me like you know me!” shrieked Leela, kicking the fallen Amy in the ribs.
“I’ve seen the way you treat Fry and that’s enough,” yelled Amy, rolling out of the way of another kick. Amy flipped herself up and punched Leela squarely on the nose. Leela didn’t even flinch, she just launched into a spinning kick to Amy’s head. In an instant of unnatural agility, Amy sidestepped out of the way and grabbed Leela’s leg, slamming her to the ground.
“You had everything I ever wanted! You could’ve had Fry, you’re the mother of Kif’s kids, you’re the successful space captain, you have parents who care about you and not just whether they’ll get grandchildren, you have everything and you’re not happy!” roared Amy, violently kicking Leela in the head.
“Like hell, you had your parents with you when you were little, you had lots of friends, you’re rich, and the reason people look at you twice is because you’re beautiful, not because you’re a freak like me!” screamed Leela, dodging a kick aimed at her ribs and springing up. Lunging for Amy, the two women started wrestling around on the floor. Fists and feet flew as they attempted to beat the hell out of each other.

“B-E-N-D-E-R,  what’s that spell, Bender, whoa yeah baby” cheered Bender strolling in. Then he noticed Amy and Leela fighting, “What’s up meatbags?”
Amy and Leela ignored him and carried on attacking each other.
“Hello, earth to rich girl and eye ball, I’m talking to you here!”
“Shut up Bender,” commanded Leela, landing a vicious punch to Amy’s nose, breaking it. Amy wailed in pain, while connecting a solid kick to Leela’s ribs, tossing her off. The two bloodied and battered women slowly got to their feet and began circling each other.
“Hey, I’m Bender and I’ll speak when I like, if you don’t like it you can bite my shiny metal ass!” called Bender in an offended tone. Amy and Leela tossed venomous glares at him and continued circling each other.

wow... you are so wrong it's not even funny... i'm actually a democrat, i live in the north, and i don't even go to church... also, i have absolutely nothing against homosexuality, i was talking about leela and amy specificly, i just don't think that would ever happen to them... and the jurrasic bark thing just proves that they're too lazy to go get their guns... also, i didn't say anything was wrong with what was happening i just said that on the show that probably wouldn't happen between amy and leela! and if i was "one of those right-wing bible-thumping nuts from the Southern states of America" do honestly think i would even watch futurama?

See... now you're contridicting yourself...    :hmpf:

You can't blame me for being exasperated by your insufferable moralizing after the crap hissy-fit you went on with in my art thread.

A word about fan-fiction though - it's most often a medium specifically intended to show the characters doing things that they would normally not do... that's usually the whole point... or did you miss that?

some people write fanfics like writing their own episodes, if you change all of the characters personalities it sorta defeats the purpose

Chapter eight
Fry walked the busy streets of New New York, his head spinning. Fry didn’t mind lesbians, he thought that if you loved someone and they made you happy, then it didn’t matter what their gender was. But the fact it was Leela and Amy made his head whirl. Every night Fry had cried himself to sleep because he fell short of Leela’s high standards and then he heard about Amy and Leela’s drunken mistake. Fry would have been able to understand, but the fact that Leela had decided after rejecting Fry time after time that she loved him, and that she hadn’t told him about the incident really burned. The fact she had actively tried to hide it was worse. Fry knew he had reacted badly, and had focused his hurt on Leela rather than Amy, but he had every right. He wasn’t so hurt by Amy because at least Amy had told him, even if it was only to stop Leela telling Kif about last night.

Last night, Fry felt his cheeks heat up just thinking about it. Everything that was wrong by moral standards had felt right, and Fry was hit by the fact he had been truly happy. Amy was honest with him; she was nice to him, everything that Leela normally wasn’t. The more Fry thought about it, the more he began to think he had been stupider than normal when he had left her to chase Leela. But now Amy was with Kif and Leela said she loved Fry, and he had no idea what to do. Fry had been trying to get Leela for so long, but now she was within his grasp he wasn’t sure if he wanted her. Fry was torn, he could go with Leela and live a lie, or reject her and watch Amy from the shadows, either way he wouldn’t be happy. But could he make someone else happy? Amy was fine with Kif, and if Fry could make Leela happy by being with her then it would be better for everyone. Wouldn’t it? Feeling very confused, Fry turned around and headed back towards Planet Express.

As he approached the building he could hear muffled screaming and a lot of crashing about. Instinctively Fry quickened his pace, moving towards the sounds. He got into the board room just in time to see Leela and Amy glare at Bender and circle each other. Before Fry could take a step towards the two agitated women, they flew at each other. Ignoring his brain telling him that what he was doing was a very bad idea, Fry ran towards the catfight, intent on breaking it up.
“Hey, stop it, break it up you two!” he yelled before leaping into the fray of fists and feet. He received half a dozen punches, kicks and head butts before Leela and Amy realised what was going on and backed off.
“Oh my glosh Fry, are you all right?” asked Amy tentatively, before rushing over to a very dazed Fry who was lying on the floor.
“N…never better,” said Fry clutching his head, as Leela also raced over to him.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry Fry,” apologized Leela desperately.
“No problem, I’m used to it. What were you guys fighting about anyway?” questioned Fry as he slowly stood up. Leela opened her mouth to answer but Amy spoke first.
“She told Kif what we did last night Fry, and he broke up with me!” she said, beginning to gently sob. Fry was shocked.
“Why did you do that Leela?”
“She told you about my mistake, I told Kif about hers,” answered Leela, having the decency to sound partially ashamed.
“I’m so sorry Amy,” said Fry, gently wiping away Amy’s tears, “If I hadn’t left you before you wouldn’t be going through this.”

Amy looked slightly confused by the statement and Leela looked slightly outraged.
“What do you mean,” they both asked.
“If I hadn’t gone of chasing Leela, you wouldn’t have gone out with Kif, if you hadn’t gone out with Kif then last night wouldn’t have been cheating, and if last night hadn’t been cheating then you wouldn’t be hurting right now,” explained Fry, “I’m sorry,”
“It’s not your fault Fry,” reassured Amy, “I shouldn’t have led you on last night,”
“It takes two to tango Amy; it’s as much my fault as it is yours,” said Fry. Amy opened her mouth to answer when Leela interrupted.
“Hello, I am here you know. Have you thought about what I said Fry?” she said. Fry was quiet for a moment before answering very carefully.
“I have thought about it Leela, but before I decide I need to know something, why didn’t you give me a chance before, and why did you try and stop Amy telling me about the incident?”
“I didn’t give you a chance before because I was scared, and I didn’t really trust that you wouldn’t hurt me. I didn’t want Amy to tell you about the incident because I didn’t want you to know,”
“So you love me, but you don’t trust me,”
“I didn’t mean it like that Fry!”
“How do you mean it Leela?”
“I don’t know!”
“Then I can’t date you! I’m sorry Leela but I need you to be honest with me before I can date you,”
“Fine!” yelled Leela, turning on her heels and storming out.

Chapter nine
Leela slammed the door on her way out and ran out onto the street. Her feet pounded the ground as she ran faster then she had ever ran before, running away from the sound of her heart breaking in two. The pain was unbearable, immeasurable, so total and complete. Hair slipped from her ponytail as she tried to contain her emotions, which were threatening to break past her solid mask. She raced through the New New York park gates and collapsed onto the nearest bench, her perfect mask slipping and tears leaking through. Oh if only she had trusted Fry before, she wouldn't have suffered at  the hands of other men and she would be happy now! Instead she had suffered and Fry had slipped from her grasp and there was nothing she could do. Destined to be alone, cursed by her own doubt, Leela wept gently. Though her one eye lacked proper depth perception, it was her emotions that had made her blind. Leela didn't know what to do, she wanted to ran away and hide where the world would never find her, and yet she wanted to run back to the PE building and fight for Fry. Leela slouched on the bench dejectedly, knowing that even if she fought for Fry she had already lost him. She had been losing him little by little each time she had rejected him, but this time it was for good. When she left Fry after the opera she had gone past the point of no return, there was no going back now. Leela's childhood had made her mistrustful; she had gone through too many years fighting back the tears, why couldn't the past just die, for its life in her memory had wrecked her one true chance of happiness. Slowly, Leela stood from the bench and took in a deep breath.
"If I'm gonna be miserable, I'm gonna have a good time getting there," she muttered to herself, heading out of the park.

Fry was pacing the boardroom, getting more and more agitated with every step he took. Leela wasn’t meant to run off like that, she was meant to be honest, tell him the real reason why she had rejected him. Why the hell were women so temperamental and unpredictable? It drove Fry mad, here he was trying to decide what the best thing to do was and Leela went off into a rage at him.
“You women are impossible,” he told Amy, before he quickly resumed pacing, “I mean, I tell Leela I can’t date her unless she’s honest with me and she goes totally ballistic!”
“That’s just Leela, she can’t be honest to herself, let alone a wonderful…nice guy like you,” said Amy, rushing to correct herself mid-sentence.
“What about you? You weren’t exactly forthcoming about your night with Leela!”
“In the same way you weren’t exactly shouting about last night from the rooftops!”
“Hold on, what did you two skintoobs do now?” asked Bender suddenly startling Amy and Fry. Fry shot Amy a defiant glance before turning to Bender.
“I slept with Amy last night,” he declared. Bender was nonplussed.
“All this fuss because you two interfaced?”
“Yeah,”
“You meatbags make me sick!”

Leela made her way over to the shadier side of New New York, the part with the 24hr bars, the ‘gentlemen’s’ clubs and so forth. She checked the pockets of her trousers to make sure she had some money and headed over to the closest bar. She sauntered in more confidently then she felt and the crowd fell quiet as she made her way towards the bar area.
“I’ll have a double of whatever’s the strongest,” Leela said as the crowd started to chatter again.
“Stick it on my tab,” ordered a stranger to the barman, sidling up to Leela. The stranger was a man, dressed a pair of tight jeans the emphasized his muscular legs and a skin tight black t-shirt that showed off his toned six-pack while allowing his strong arms to show off themselves. His features were sharp, and he had hair so blonde it was almost white set in a spiked style. His eyes were a piercing green that seemed to search your soul, against a tanned face and body. He was in a word, dazzling. Leela ran her eye over his hunky physique hungrily.

“Who are you?” she asked slyly.
“I’m Leo, and you must be a goddess, because no person on this earth could look so good,” answered Leo smoothly, causing Leela to blush outrageously.
“Actually I’m Leela,” she replied, fighting to keep herself from melting with desire.
“The name fits the woman, both are beautiful,” said Leo suavely, taking Leela’s hand and giving it a glancing kiss, “Now what is a woman like you doing in a place like this?”
“Oh, it’s nothing really. I fell in love with a guy who’s been chasing me for years and then I found out I was too late. It seems he got over me by sleeping with the rich bitch at work.”

“More fool him, all the riches in the world could not replace you face
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course untrimmed.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st;
Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow'st,
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.”
“That was beautiful!” gasped Leela.
“A beautiful sonnet for a beautiful lady,”
Leela blushed again, “Thanks,”
“Don’t thank me for telling the truth, how about we go for a sunlit walk by the park?” winked Leo.
“I don’t know…”
“I’ll throw in a meal at Elzar’s” said Leo hopefully.
“Okay then, but just a walk and meal,”
“With you, that’s enough,”

Oh... it better not be about writing me into your story... I'm copyrighted. I was only joking - Fry's the only bloke she should end up with.
If Leo is a decent guy he'll see she's in love with somebody else and he'll help her find the strength to not give up on that love. Giving up is what losers do, so don't let her....
...ah hell, I give up...

The idea involves you, swords, complete and utter chaos. Would that serve instead?
