I wanted to make some custom wallpapers (1600 x 1200) through framegrabbing from my DVDs. Does anybody know how to framegrab off a DVD or what tools/software I would need in order to do so? Thanks.

Well Power DVD is good. There are other software, just go on google and search for "DVD Software"

Yes Power DVD is indeed good.

However, getting normal DVD framegrabs into the quality for wallpapers of 1600x1200 will be hard to achieve. DVDs normally come with a picture sizes of 720 x 576 (PAL system) or 720 x 480 (NTSC system). And especially with cartoons like Futurama these are compressed to a certain level and already lost a lot of their sharpness.

I think you don't get around of scanning/redoing the framegrab you are taking if you want a Wallpaper that big.
