Well, this is it, the Shippyest Fan Art/Shippy Logo of the Year 2006.58 poll! (In other words, it's taking place at the beginning of August) Now, no ado to be allowed here, so down to the business!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

You know what they say, save the best for last. So here's the humble Intendant Commander's scan. No comments.

Professor Zoidy has outdone herself and us once again! Whether they be scans or merely large pixel arts, the nonnegateable fact is that they are shippy! One portrays Fry axing Leela for a date...

...and the other shows presumed outcome of said date!

Now, not last and not least, famed fanfic writer and presumed heir to the throne (you know which one I mean), Venus's mini-series, 'Why be a shipper?' Marvel at these elaborated avatars while she cleans Sunny Delight off of Anica.

And for those of you out there who would prefer to vote for a PEEL Shipper Community logo, we have Arkan, the person who believes today is tomorrow! But then again, don't we all? (We're shippers and nerds. Of course we do.)

You all have until the eighth of August to cast your votes. Vote away! Now! Why are you reading this? Go!

After you vote, those of you who wish to stay and help create the offical rules, please do so. One thing we can decide on is how often this poll should take place. Monthly, like the POTM, seems a bit excessive to me. Biannually? Annually? Actually, I should go and vote first, shouldn't I...

Hm.. I think bi-monthly sounds pretty good for new arts and whatnot. I quite like Arkan's work. Perhaps I'll vote for that...perhaps one of my own to raise my score *shity eyes*  :laff:

Hmm...Maybe biannually?

And yay, I have four votes!  I feel so loved!

...you actually calculated the decimal on that, didn't you?  Actually figured out how many days into the year we were and divided by 365.25.  Oi.

Once again, you're an idiot, Fry1077. (I voted 7. You'd better love me!) If you'd have casually taken a glance at the Shippy Thread in offtopic, you'd understand. The Shippers united in one thread and we all made something to show that we loved shippyness. Nobody voted for my art

Shippers suck, that's my opinion, if you were asking which one was better IMO #5 was. And I was joking about not getting it  :p

My vote is private. Now, I'd like to thank Nerdy for pointing out how my title was off by point zero zero zero four two four three six six. And after I do that, I'd like to point out that my current compromise for the frequency of this poll is every three months. Although maybe I'm slightly biased in my opinion on the matter, because TriggerHappyJim just submitted this. Good, no? No, good, yes! Yes indeed, it's good! Now, before I go, one last thing... Who the heck voted for me?

Completely offtopic, but I just freaking saw KITT. *hours of fangirl squeals* Freaking aawwwwssoommmee!         The only downsides: the stripper was dirty dancing on MY damned mancar and almost went completely naked on national TV (which KITT saw as inappropriate). Hasselhoff was glad to see KITT again, and he said " Well, now I know where he's been all this time"     :laff: He hasn't turned into a perverted car, oh no no, god no.... Not until I have danced around him like that.     ;)
BACK to the ontopic disgussion: Xanfor, you voted for yourself, I know it.     :p
Tri-monthly works for me. I'll try to make a shippy pic over the weekend, or wait until.. about October (right? correct me if I'm wrong. My brain is still focused mostly on KITT *sighs dreamily again*)

I fell to the peer pressure and voted #7. Why do I feel that I need to apologise?

...because bowing to peer pressure in an election of any sort defeats the entire purpose of voting, and that's why for things that matter we have secret ballots?

Actually it's because #7 was the best on the list, however this list didn't force me to consider the most excellent work of TriggerHappyJim.

Eh-hem, Zoidy. Let's say we create a 'Knight Rider' thread and discuss this? Hmm? Hmm!?  ;) (I'd vist you sometimes... Maybe...)

And I did not vote for myself! I voted for Arkan!

Don't listen to a word they say. If having threads about Star Wars and various other shows doesn't cause lawsuit, neither will even a mention of your idea. (They're just jealous you thought of it first ;))

Nah, Nerdy's just jealous because I spoofed his signature. I do that. I did it to Venus in the Shipper thread and she said I almost made her spit Sunny Delight all over Anica.

I'd love to agree - I'm in a particularly good mood tonight - but the PEEL shipping community has spent itself, and the vote for zoidberg227 is still growing. Maybe next month.

And yes, I did vote for you. now get over it.

Sunny Delight?  I thought Venus was from Florida.  You can get real orange juice there.

And no, I didn't really mind, Xanfor.  It's just that this was a very hard-fought title.  That damnable commie Jersey kid robbed me of it during the first election, and I had to resort to Team America references to sway the voters this year.

PS: I voted for Z227.  Sorry, but he's got a really cool hat.

Yeah, but you can't ward off vampires with orange juice like you can with Sunny Delight.

You know, 'cause Sunny D contains the power of the sun.

Don't worry. I read several months worth of old threads before joining PEEL. I know how hard it was for you to get the title. I wouldn't dream of stealing your fame. That's why you're our Corrupt Despot and I'm our Corrupt Deposit. And today I just checked in and saw I was in the lead for the POTM. Totally unexpected. I was shocked. Seriously. I can't help but brag.      :flirt:

And there's no need to sound mean, THJ. I'm just so suprised!

Yeah, half-vampires aren't vulnerable to sunlight, so Sunny D doesn't hurt them.

Purple Stuff, on the other hand, works on just about anything: vampires, werewolves, you name it.

Didn't mean to sound mean, if you catch my drift.

You know, I should do more Futurama writing. Perhaps after I've finished my Harry Potter fic. I don't like calling it that, becasue so little of it is actually about Harry.

Nah, I'm not an ass.  Although the irony is tempting.

Venus: just enough fangs to be kinky, but not enough to drain blood?

David A: Okay, now I'm curious: what's Purple Stuff?  Martyrdom 5, or are you referencing something I don't know?

It's one of the defender's edges.  I don't know which one, because I don't know the actual names of any of the edges.  If you'd ever played the Hunter video games, you'd know exactly what I was talking about.

It's also one of the things that the kids don't choose in that old Sunny Delight commercial.  "Let's see, we've got soda, purple stuff, OJ, Sunny D..."  I always wondered what the purple stuff was, and thanks to Hunter now I know.  I also wondered why someone would buy both orange juice and Sunny Delight, but then again, I don't really understand why anyone would buy Sunny Delight instead of real orange juice in the first place.
