Hi.

Saw "Love and Rocket" for the first time since moving to Milwaukee, and I was pretty stoked to see it featured.

I was wondering if someone could provide a screengrab of the city. I'm specifically looking for the "Welcome to romantic Milwaukee - birthplace of Beer Goggles" sign, but frames of the city itself would be cool too.

I'd do it myself, but Vol 4 is the one set of dvds I don't have. Thanks in advance.

I think they're even more accurate than shots of New New York!

Cool! I live in Milwaukee too. I litterally jumped and danced around when I saw the episode!

it's weird... it doesn't look that different if you think about it... (i don't live there but i go there a lot.) i can't believe the art museum would still be there in 1000 years!

@UnL13: OMG! I just noticed that! I've never been there [the art museum], but I've always wanted to go there. I made a Milwaukee slogan: "Milwaukee, because pop culture needs someplace to pick on." *turns on That 70's Show* By the way you should visit other places in Wisconsin, like Cedarberg, there's fantastic shopping there. Be sure to stop by West Allis too.

People who live in America get to see their home cities on all manner of movies and TV shows. I'm from Australia... our cities are less broadcasted.

No, you're wrong, Sydney gets flaunted quite alot...

Come one! What about the world's most livable city; Melbourne?!

Ehh, Sydney sucks donkey balls.
Ahh, I dunno really. Parts of it are okay. I guess my point is moot because I live in a little rural town that nobody on earth has ever heard of. It doesn't even have a name that I'm aware of, but I'm angry that it hasn't appeared in any Hollywood films! Grr!

Muahaha. At least Perth gets mentioned as a place for the rejects on Neighbours to go...

You could always create your own show and mention all the places and things you've ever wanted everyone to know about. Like how you're going to take over the world and all that.

Maybe I will, Maz... maybe I will. And I'll feature myself as an anarchistic revolutionary/vigilante in the same vein as Alan Moore's 'V', except instead of dressing as Guy Fawlkes I'll put on Ned Kelly armour and weild a fearsome arsenal of weapons.
People should not be afraid of their governments, governments should be afraid of their people. And EVERYONE should be afraid of me.

So will you have a muli-weapon arm? And then after fighting and slaying people say "You are now dead. Thank you for choosing to fight Joeltron"?

That would be a jolly good show, old chap.

That's funny, because my slogan for Milwaukee was "We might not be New York, but at least we're not Chicago."

But Cedarburg and West Allis aren't Milwaukee.  That's like telling someone to go to New Jersey when they visit Manhattan.
