Art and Glasses, oh yeah and his not-so-good Art

Hi everyone,
This is my first attempt at a scan of any kind. Hence they may not be the quality that so many PEELers are seeking  That said it was a grab I have always wanted to 'Shop. Here it is:

Sadly I saved it as a .GIF    so some colour loss may be apparent. But if you click on the image it will look better on the Imageshack website.

Thanks, I'm in the middle of scanning another one but do you think saving it as .PNG would be better?

But as for colour loss... ummm well, im not that knowledgeable about file types etc, i just let photoshop save it as a high quality jpeg. See if saving it as a .png is better, but if not just post a jpeg pic, and put a link to a high quality .bmp version for those with broadband.

That Homer scan has the look of a collectable pin/ badge or somesuch... nice.

And thanks zoidyzoid, although I'm getting quite annoyed at the way my Simpsons scans turn out in comparison to the quality to some used in website designs.

Wow, nice stuff you got going in here! And they're first time scans too! Mine weren't close to that quality, and lucky you, no color loss! You can get around that though. *evil laughter* I agree with Zoidyzoid on the trading pin effect. Awesome job.
