Hi

First time visitor, first time poster, here.

OK - I have loved, love and will continue to love, "Futurama!"

...AND I just picked up a really nice, really FAST C.A.D. package, "CadStd," for $25.

This may be the end of the frozen banana daiquery as we know it!

...Oh - and life, too.

The hideous result:

Me neither, are you supposed to build your own Bender with that picture? And was it that picture alone that cost the 25$?

It's an attempt at creating a schematic for the Bending Unit class of robots.

At least thats what I think...

Although, it is impressive nonetheless!  :D

It's a blueprint.  Schematics tend to show things like wiring diagrams, pipe layouts, or some other circuit, and rarely, if ever, look like what they represent.

Anyhow, nice work.  Is the artist's conception something that CADstd puts in for you, or did you have to do that yourself?  Also, I hope to see more ... buildings and vehicles, perhaps?  Or, perhaps the rest of his body?

Hi

I had to post-produce in the artist's conception.  The CAD package is more serious about stuff than I am.

Oh - and - the picture is a photoshop-equivalent of a piece of a framegrab, too, and not mine.  I was very happy at how well it fit into my eyeballed measurements and aspect ratio.

I want to put in some measurements (approximate, anyhow) on the projection lines and get the dates right and put in the vocalization animations for the, "Shiny," "Metal," and probably, "Ooh!" instead of, "Ass!," so's to retain the G-rating on the thing.   :)

I may have to change the text sizes, too, since no one noticed that one of the 'Cert. Pending's was, "Fault Tlolerannt...."

Next project will probably be The Crushinator!
