I’ve found a liking to scan pictures so I thought I should open my thread. I know your like "OMG ANOTHER NOoB ART THREAD !!11oneone!"
But this one would be updated daily and will be spiced up      :flirt: .
Any way I always loved this picture. So I scaned it.

Hehe, neat touch with band. None of the links work though, so I can't get a good look at it. It looks pretty good though.

Cool! You gave her nipples! Well, I guess it makes sense with that dress.

I'm afraid the imageshack thumbnail doesn't work though, they always get screwed up whenever a post gets edited.

Here's a link to the the full size version.

You're good at going over the lines, but they look a bit rough. No worries though - resizing the picture gives nice smooth lines like in the thumbnail   :).

And I like the idea of 'spiced-up' scanart, anything that gives scans some artistic flare is a good thing.

EDIT: Oh OK, it got sorted... never mind.

Ok from a fashion point of few, it's a dress. So therefore it probably wouldn't be thin enough to show Leela's tits. And speaking of winkus and dinkus, they're off centered.

CFG, do you use the pen tool/beizer curves in your scans? They look awesome in the thumbnails (especially Bender's head), but up close, they're all bumpy and jagged...

If you do, then you may want to make the picture bigger when you're scanning it, so that all of the aliased-ness is practically invisible in the final version.

If you don't, I'd highly suggest you try it. It leaves the linework a lot more precise, and less bumpy.

Keep it up, it's always nice to have another good young PEELer.  :D

^Totally agree with the rough and bumpy edges. Work on it alittle more.

Well I cant figure out how to use the pen tool with psp 8 because it fills it in. Is there any way to fix this without getting a new program?

I have PSP 9 but if I were you I'd just zoom in on it and go very very slow. And work on centering Leela's tits.

Very nice work! My first scans looked much worse than that!
You really should try to get that Pen-tool thing sorted out. Working with the Bezier curves (Pen tool) gives fantastic lines.  :)

Keep it up.

That sounds as if you have a background color set. PSP let's you choose two colors, one for the foreground and one for the background. Set the background to "transparent", then it should work.

Wow, I like the thumbnails of the MSPaint or whatever ones.

They look so clean, like flash, but when they get big, they're more visible but more rough.

Great job nonetheless  :D
