As for the BF Girls, I came up with the idea so it's 50/50. I'm sure EL wouldn't mind, she doesn't like them much more anyway. But she'd slice your head off if you asked for her more original creations though.

Now for some art:
Here's Fry as Naruto and I drew the fox demon as best I could.  It kind of looks like Fry.  heh... Oh well.  Looks pretty good if you ask me.

I drew it while watching the one Simpsons where Marge writes the romance novel based on Homer and Ned.  I love love love that episode for some reason and I usually don't like ones about Marge.  Anyway... Enjoy!

Alright, now I have to do Fryshitaka.   

Firstly wow. Those are amazing. I love how the demon fox looks  and Leela as the princess looks amazing.

It's also a scary thought if we do think on the same wavelength. I was also thinking for the Naruto parody that Bender would make a good Sasuke and I would say Leela as Sakura but my mind says she would make a better Tsunade (especially with her little pig being nibbler). Also I think Zapp would make a great Jiriya (definitly both obsesed with the female form).

As for the Trigun pic. I love the concept (espcially the Robotology stuff). I was trying to think about Milly and Meryl. Now Leela has more of  the stature of Milly but the personallity of Meryl (same goes for Amy), i just thought it might look weird if Amy is carrying that huge gun Milly has.

Still amazing stuff.

Creating the BF Girls was something of a group effort.  In any case, Vee is the one who actually drew them, so I think she deserves a bit more than 50% of the credit.

 

I'm sure EL wouldn't mind, she doesn't like them much more anyway.

I'm sure she wouldn't mind if she was asked for permission first.

No that was Jingo. Gonza was Lady Ebioshi's subordinate, the tall bald one with a goatee.

It was a pleasure to colour. The strong lines allowed for easier filling in of colours. I'll admit i am still not happy with Fry's hair, however the thing I am most happy about (the ends of the Foxes tail) came aout by complete accident.

I'd love to be able to colour some of your other pics, with your permission of course. Also if you do make a Trigun/ Futurama I would love to colour that

Well, I've been hesitant about posting in this thread, since Nurdbot seems to be here alot, and everytime a post something it seems he has some smart-assed comment to go along with it.

Other than Nurdbot posting here, you and this thread rule all, I'd like to know your technique, if you don't mind sharing, do you start out with polygons then make features darker, and then strace with something dark, or do you just jump in, or something else?

I just jump in.  I draw a very basic shape of how I want the figure to look and then I draw it with a mechanical pencil and ink it with a 0.3 tip.  That's about it. =]  If you like I can make a tutorial for this thread.

No one needs to see Zoidy in tights.     (EL might disagree with that if she were here, though.)

I just thought that if you were doing Futurama characters as Tenchi Muyo! characters, Zoidberg as Washu would be the obvious way to go.  Frankly, I'm rather surprised that Wu didn't suggest it himself.

Incidentally, if you don't mind my asking, what school do you go to?  Just curious.

But seriously, good work.  And Ed is about 14, and Fry is 25, so yeah, a slight age difference there.  Although we DO see Fry at about that age in "Luck of the Fryrish".
