whats a good yet affordable scan package?

Ken, none, they all cost lots of money.  I say get a warez copy of photoshop 6 or higher.  photo shop is what I use and love it to death.


Fireworks and flash are also great tools for scanning.

how many freaking times do we have to talk about this?

anyway if you want affordable you best find a free trial download and a crack to keep it for free forever because other wise you'll pay a few hundred dollars for something like adobe illustrator...

and yes illustrator is what you want to use, not photoshop, unless you just want to erase away the backgrounds of framegrabs... if you want to actually draw/trace your stuff then you want illustrator.
