You probably don't want to give away all your secrets, but, could you give me some tips for colouring in photoshop?
My colouring alway's looks shitty...

No secrets.
Work in layers
Create your sketch on the background layer.
Make a new layer over that and fill it with white, then adjust the transparency of the white layer so you can see just enough of the sketch to ink it.
(Sorta like using tracing paper)
Make a new layer over the white layer for "inking" the linework.
After you've done the line work, make another new layer and place it under the linework layer and do your coloring here.
Use the dodge and burn tools to do your shading and highlighting.
Make duplicate layers of the colored layer to experiment with lighting effects.
Play with the transparency/opacity of the layers to acheive different blends.
