Ooh, I love the Robot Devil picture! Everything is awesome with it, even the background pic! You took that yourself? Great work, Cap'n!

Just adding to what others have said, but v. attractive pics, guy  :D

Particularly fond of the clothes - you're a natural at drawing (and shading, which is just as hard) the folds in cloth. OK, you've probably got other qualities too, but the drawing thing is still a _good thing_!

Might as well admit I didn't snap the background pic in the Beelzebot Jones pic. But I did cobble it together from several pix I found online.

I don't know why I didn't start coming in this thread earlier ... awesome stuff.  [That Guy]Awesome to the max.[/That Guy]

@ that Leela pic: *sproiiinng!* 0_0 yowza!  Such a comely lass ...

You do a good job blending the tones and shading of the characters to your background pics too ... most people wouldn't bother to do that (if they even could do that).

Edited, because I messed up my UBB.

Thanks. Intigrating and balancing foreground to background is important. Mostly so on the Beelzebot Jones one.
I'm playing with some frame grabs from The Deep South now.
(And keeping a few to play with later...)

first mate? First Mate? First mate?
Well, maybe. I was thinking more along the lines of ship's cannon for ol' Bender. Or maybe a ship in and of himself. When it comes down to the heirarchy:
the likely scenario I have in mind (but I'm not holding myself to it)
Farnsworth: Comodore (no admirals here)
Leela: ship's Captain (as on the show)
Bender: First Mate is a good call, but ship's cannon might be funnier.
Fry: that's a toughie. Let me think about it.
Hermes: Purser, of course. (or Bursar)
It's a tough job figuring this all out.
but know that I am conducting extensive research on the subject

Excellent Ranking Chart
It shows international comparisons as well as modern vs. WW2.
As I suspected - Comodore is the next rank up from Captain but before Admiral.
A Comodore Is basically a Captain who may have several ships under his command but is still not an Admiral.
Pyrates hate Admirals. Admirals run the fleets that are against them, but they'll follow a leader of several ships and Captains and call him Comodore.

"Ranking as petty officers were the master-at-arms (originally the small arms instructor), the sailmaker, the armourer and the armourer's mate, and the ship's cook."
Bender, being naught but a simple (but speciallized) bending unit, would probably fall into this rank. It would even suit him if I made him the ship's cannon. Or maybe Warrant Officer

And then there's Scruffy...   ;)

It's possible I could make wallpaper versions at some point in time. I've kept all my high res working versions of everything I've done so far.

Nay. Not much of a gamer here. Although I did supply other gamers of the the pyrate persuasion with flags for use in various gaming forums and whatnot.
Here's a small sampling of some of the stitchwork I've done in the past:

Cap'n: If you can, try a demo of it at least. You'd enjoy it, especially when your avatar starts to get scars and loose the odd leg in battle to look more unique.

Cap'n: If your armed with a 10 barrel Royal Navy Flintlock musket cannon and some spit he won't be tough. Unless there is a pole supported by some sticks nearby.

Anywho, Hermes is the perfect candidate for being piratized given his Carribean descent.  Excellent work, as usual.
