I recently found an article in an issue of the Des Moines Register a newspaper that will probably only be found in Iowa, which for those who (probably) don't know is actually a state in the States. Yes it is a state.    :p Well anyway the article was talking about the new movie Anchorman and how News Anchors can be funny. It mentioned the three on the poll and I wondered which Anchor people like most. My vote goes to Morbo.
EDIT: I see you can't italicize the words in polls.

I love Morbo and Kent Brockman, two cloolsome characters. I'll have to go for Morbo though...

I live in Des Moines, Iowa!  I've got to be the only PEELer that lives here.

I haven't read the Register in a few days, can you recall which day it is from?  Also, how did you hear about the article?

On the poll, I voted for Morbo.

Morbo BY FAR.

He has a belligerant and numerous family, is bent on world conquest, and threatens his teleprompter.

Whats not to like about the guy?

I loves me the Morbo. Tom isn't cool, it's just his son. And Kent is okay, but not quite as funny.

Morbo is the best on that poll because he's the most memorable. When I first saw Futurama reruns on Adult Swim, I clearly remembered the alien anchorman.

However, Tom Tucker is noteworthy for casually calling his wife and saying "Honey, I'm gonna be late for dinner, I've got a hooker coming over...well what about the pool guy, he likes you..."

Also, what about the random anchors on South Park? I was watching the tooth fairy episode, and there was a picture of Hillary Clinton and the scene started with the guy saying "To which Hillary replied, 'I don't even like vagina!'". For some reason, that made me laugh my ass off.

Yeah, South Park's random achors and reporters are great. "We now cross to a normal-looking guy with a funny name" (guy starts reporting, the name at the bottom of the screen reads "CREAMY GOODNESS" )   :laff:

Still, my vote goes to Morbo, for this one quote: "WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!!!" Hilarious. Tom Tucker's easily the runner up, though.

Morbo is the best.  He will destroy Kent Brockman and Tom Tucker.  Not to say I don't like the other two.  One of my favourite Kent Brockman bits is when they cut to him at the tail end of a story which ends, "...authorities say the phony Pope can be recognized by his hi-top sneakers and incredibly foul mouth."

"...it's in Revalations, people!"
or
"Morbo APLAUDES the demise of the pathetic human species. Bwahahahahahahaha!"
Arggh, don't make me choose... (I've only got S1 of FG, and Tucker hasn't impressed me that much so far...)

Well, I guess I'll go with Morbo, what the the whole 'Futurama' thing he's got going...

Well, I think it was from Friday (the 9th?) anyway I heard because I too live in Iowa and read the Register often.

Tom Tucker, Comedy genius.
Morbo, Alien with a passion for killing humans.

Tucker, easily.

Hmm 3 good choices but who to go with. I guess my vote goes with Morbo or I would probably be on some other board now.  :p

Morbo.  Kent Brockman is good, but he's no Morbo.  Family Guy beats off, so whatever Tom Tucker is can't compete with Morbo or Kent Brockman.

Morbo gets mine.  Who else threatens people in their reports? Nobody, thats who!

Though Tom is funny, he's always so calm when he reports, and always throws something wicked at Diann.
