A collection of Cartman's sexist quotes, just for the hell of it:

"I would never let a woman kick my ass. If she tried something, I'd be like, HEY! You get your bitch ass back in the kitchen and make me some pie!"

"If some girl tried to kick my ass, I'd be like, 'Hey. Why don't you stop ... dressing me like a mailman ... uh, and making me dance for you ... while you go and ... smoke crack in your bedroom ... and have sex with ... some guy ... I don't even know. On my dad's bed.
Stan: Cartman, what the hell are you talking about?
Cartman: I'm just saying you're just a little wuss, that's all."

" Mr. Garrison: Who was in charge of the feminist movement of the early '60's?
Cartman: A bunch of fat old skanks on their periods."

"If some sissy chick tried to kick my @ss I would say hey, missy, go knit me a sweater before I slap you in the face!"

"Why don't you chicks go wash some dishes or get pregnant or somethin'?!"

Be a man Stan. Say, "Heyy woman, ee, ee, you shut your mouth and make babies."

Has anyone gotten Season 4 on DVD yet? It just came out in the US today. I wanted to go today and get it, but I couldn't find anyone to give me a ride.

My video store had it early last week, so I rented it.

I already had half of them on other tapes and DVDs at came out before it.

Amazon shipped it to me today, but I want to save it for the long plane ride when I go on vacation next week. But I see the box and disc art, and it looks pretty good.

I've seen the commercials for it. Also, the third season has a DVD preview. I know 4th season has some greats like NAMBLA, Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld, Fingerbang...but what else does it have?

Season 4 guide.
One of my least favorite seasons personally, but it still has plenty of great stuff. It's still worth picking up because of a few great episodes.

Well, what do you know, an episode I've never seen! The Pip episode...

There are also episodes there I have only seen once, or not in a while. Worth a pickup.

I bought series four on video years ago, before I had DVD, alas they haven't released any later series here since then  :(

Series 4 only just out for Region 1? How terrible!

The Pip episode was great. I loved how Malcolm Mcdowell presented it and 'Pocket' the goofy posh boy; " Oh, what a gay time we shall have, and I do mean gay as in festive, not as in penetration of the bum."

And...

"Not at all, I'm sure!"

Yeah, well the region 1 version has commentaries, and we already have a solid release date for season 5.  :p

I hate you  :p I hope they bring it out here soon, even though series five was a low point in my opinion despite a few good episodes.

But I suppose with Matt and Trey commentaries it would be worth the wait.

so maybe Butters will gfet the job and try to be a nice president but his inner evil (Prof Chaos) will try to completely take over his soft and gullible body.

The reason "Not Without My Anus" is not shown much in America is not because it's offensive, but because it nearly caused a riot.

Trey and Matt had ended the first season with "Cartman's Mom is Dirty Slut" and had left us wondering who Cartman's father was. Even people who weren't huge South Park fans were looking forward to finding out the identity of Cartman's father (who can be seen in the uncut pilot along with Cartman's sister, by the way). Trey and Matt,
, found out that the day season two of South Park was going to premiere was also April 1st. They made a short Terrence and Phillip movie and aired it instead of "Cartman's Mom Is Still A Dirty Slut". Everyone went completely batshit insane at this.

Phone calls came pouring into Comedy Central, South Park fansite webmasters posted long, boring, angry rants on their websites, and people actually "boycotted" South Park. I remember how Trey and Matt actually had their lives threatened and ended up making light of it on "The Ten (or was it five?) Most Notorious South Park Episodes" which they hosted. NWMA was number one. It has only been shown twice in America to this date.

"Pip", which I've just seen on my Season 4 DVD and loved, beats NWMA for least-aired episode, however. Pip has only been shown once. It just wasn't shown more than once because it had incredibly bad ratings and most South Park fans didn't like the unique style Matt and Trey gave it.

Oh, come on, now. That was some years ago. If they showed it again once in a while, I DOUBT it would cause a riot. This makes me sad.. it's the only one I never got to see. That fateful night I was grounded and couldn't watch TV.. I got the news from friends the next day. I was rather shocked, but not.. Pissed, you know? I just kind of laughed.
Pip only aired once? I was lucky to have seen it, then. It's a very memorable episode for me. I remember having taped it and then watching it later that night. My Mom always hated South Park because it was vulgar. I showed that episode to her.. And she still doesn't like the show much, but I think she was rather surprised at how literate Trey and Matt could be.

I picked up season 4 yesterday on DVD...watched through it, there were some episodes I'd seen once, episodes I hadn't seen in a while, it was all good. Well, the mini-commentaries aren't as good as they were on season 3, but you know.

I know we stopped talking about Butters a few posts ago - but does anybody think they'll ever do a Professor Chaos episode again? What, with Butters' cover blown in 801 and all?

Butters appeared as Prof Chaos in this Season's "Good Times With Weapons" (best episode ever). He fought Cartman and everyone in an anime battle in that episode.

Good Times With Weapons IS episode 801. My question was - since the boys found out that Professor Chaos was Butters in that epiosde - do you think he'll ever be in an episode again?

... sorry bout that Beamer. Dont really know Episode numbers that well.

In that case, in my opinion they'll probably end up bringing Prof Chaos at one time or another. He's just a hugely popular storyline and it really gives Butters (who normally isnt a main character) some airtime. Plus even b4 Episode 801, Stan found out Butter's was Chaos in "My Future Self n' Me". Just because his identity has been uncovered, doesnt mean we havent seen the last of Professor Chaos.

Stan knew that Butters was Professor Chaos before. Don't you remember Butters going "Now you know my horrible secret!" and Stan saying "What, that you're gay?" sometime in season 6? It's not like it's hard to figure out, it's a fucking tin foil costume for god's sakes.

They didn't know it was Butters untill the ninja star went in his eye... and speaking of that, do you think Butters would want to be Prof. Chaos after what happened?

Come on, yes they did. They were playing a game remember? Of course they're not going to call him Butters if they're playing a game, and they all had names for themselves. And you can't forget the situation I mentioned before.

They didn't know it was him - remember? Ms. Choksondik said "Hey kid, get back here!" when he stole the eraser in the P.C. costume, and seconds later when Butters walks in normally - she makes it pretty clear that she thought they were 2 different people.

Also, when Professor Chaos first approaches the gang in Good Times With Weapons - he asks if they know who he is, and Cartman goes "Craig?". In fact, nobody in that episode even calls him Butters until after the mask gets knocked off. Remember them running around the mountains yelling out his name? They said "Butters", not "Professor Chaos".

The whole joke was that people were too stupid to figure out who Professor Chaos was, but now that the 4 boys (along with Craig, Clyde, Jimmy and Token) know who he is - will he ever have an episode again?

They probably just deluded themselves to think that he was actually Professor Chaos. It was similar to Rugrats when they used their imaginations, they thought the parents were like space aliens and stuff, and they believed it.
I remember when I was younger my mother wouldn't let me watch South Park, so she agreed to watch one episode with me to see if it was alright for kid viewing. Half way through she turned it off (The episode was The Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka) and told me I couldn't watch South Park because it glorified the Vietnam War. I watched it at Friend's houses and in my room at night, until two years ago we showed her the David Blaine episode and she had to admit she liked it. And that's the story of how I can watch South Park.  :)

My parents let me watch South Park right from the beginning. My dad finds it just as hilarious as I do, although I tend to laugh more at the sattirical material or the incredibly stupid stuff (eg. Crab People), while he laughs at the vulgarity...

Shouldn't it be the other way around?  :p

I was watching South Park since the first season was new, and my parents didn't seem to care. My dad still watches it. My mom doesn't like it, but I guess her opinion is just wrong.

Also, about that Pip episode, unique style? It's the book Great Expectations for fuck's sake! The character of Pip is based on the little kid from that book! There was nothing original about that episode, it was just like reading the cliff notes to Great Expectations. Bull fucking shit.

I think he meant that the way the episode was pulled off wasn't in the typical South Park style - the characters were all drawn differently, there was a different intro & credits, there was a narrator, etc.

And therein lies the problem with trying to judge an entire series from just one episode.

I can't remember much about that Pip ep, except in the usual South Park style it all ended in violence and/or aliens and/or mutants and/or the occult... or something. The Aunt was evil... and died.

Er... it wasn't wonderfully remarkable, though I did get a kick out of McDowel  introducing himself as "A British Person."  :D

Based on? Dear god, he IS Pip from GE...his first words are something like
"My Christian name is Philip Pirrup, but because my infant tougue could say none of this I was called Pip"

I just paraphrased the hell outta that, but in the ep he recited the first paragraph or so of GE...which is a stupid stupid book. I thought the Pip episode was really funny, made GE somewhat bearable.

And I just saw the Queer Eye episode. Sooo great. I now love crab people......
