I'm sure there are other shows worthy of this poll, but that doesn't matter. I meant this to be more of a discussion topic...the poll only sweetens the deal.

I like Press Your Luck. Does it still come on? I haven't seen it on Gameshow Network, but then I don't really watch it that much. Let's Make A Deal and Dawson-era Family Feud rocked as well.

I love Iron Chef. Jeopardy's a close second.

Jeff, they just started running PYL on the Gameshow Network this month. Check local listings.

I wouldn't call Iron Chef a true game show, at least not on the level of the others listed.

Anyway, I have to choose between Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune, eh?  Tough choice.  I guess the deciding factor is chickage - Pat Sajak only has Vanna White (with whom there is nothing wrong with   :flirt: ), but Bob's got a whole bevy of hot women.  Also, Bob has done more to endear himself to me - by beating up Happy Gilmore and appearing (sorta) on Futurama.

Out of idle curiosity, who is Wink Martingale?

You left out Super Happy Smile Time Family Wish Show (or however it goes) and the $10,000 Pyramid.

Kryten--awesome. Thanks.

Nix--Most recently, Wink has appeared in that Digiorno's pizza commercial where some fat guy is on a gay pizza-guessing game show.

I know him best from his Lifetime Network show, "Debt", but he's been on a few other things over the years, including some show called "How Is Your Mother-in-Law?" I have no idea what that is, but it sounds hilarious.

Here's the full list of crap he's been on.

I've never seen Iron Chef. But it seems to be popular, so I thought I'd include it.

Which one had Dick Clark? Was that 21 or am I thinking of something completely different?

Speaking of Who Wants To Eat, that SNL bit was totally ripped from The Onion. What a bunch of hacks.

I voted Jeopardy!, even though Alex Trebek is an ass, and it's ruined the way I answer questions in my daily life. I like trivia, though. I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers Classic Concentration, but I'm miffed at the exclusion from this list of two classic game shows: Bumper Stumpers and Supermarket Sweep. Oh God, those were lame...

Actually, there was one game show that I really liked growing up called the Liar's Club. There was a panel of two-bit celebrities, who gave different explanations as to the origins and usage of a strange object that they were shown, and of course, only one was telling the truth. Maybe I was just easy to entertain in those days, but I think it was pretty good.

Haha, Bumpter Stumpers is the best gameshow ever but I didn't put it in the poll because I assumed no one else knew about it.

That Liar's Club show sounds like To Tell The Truth. Another great/crappy show.

Yeah, I grew up on Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, and Family Feud (Pre-Louie Anderson).  I remember $10,000 Pyramid, and Card Shark.

What is/was Bumper Stumpers?

In Bumper Stumpers, the contestants were shown little messages that one might see on vanity license plates, with letters and numbers, that had to be decoded and said properly. I can't think of any examples from the show, but it was along the lines of this:

YY U R YY U B I C U R YY 4 ME

... except much shorter, and shown on a license plate. I guess something like "Y W8", but usually more difficult.
