Celebrities on The Simpsons

The way they're introduced in an episode infuriates me! They do NOT simply walk out onto the street and talk to somebody they don't know. Here's what it'd be like if The Simpsons came across a celebrity if it was probably scripted. The celebrity in this instance shall be Eddie Murphy:

Bart and Lisa: (Annoyingly)Eddie Murphy!
Eddie: Wait, do I know you kids? Fuck off!
(Eddie goes back inside)

I'm not saying Eddie Murphy would do that. He's very funny and nice. However that's what most celebrities would do in that scenario. Not go: "Hey kids" and chit chat with someone not famous... Meh...

That's a good point. Why not take it to our all-purpose Simpsons thread disguised as a review thread rather than making a whole new thread out of it?
