What other cartoons did you all watch when you were younger?  Here's mine:

Transformers
My Pet Monster
He-Man
Muppet Babies (Used to watch with my sister)
Dennis the Menece
Flintstone Kids
Camp Candy
Captain N (Not the Mario segments)
Legend of Zelda
Danger Mouse
Beavis and Butthead
Sonic the Hedgehog (Saturday morning version.  The syndicated one was too campy for me.)
King of the Hill

Before I got into Sega I only liked other Nintendo games, I never liked Mario Bros.  There was nothing appealing to me about a plumber as a hero.  My sister liked the syndicated Sonic, though.

I'm sure this thread's been done before, but I love your avy, so all I can say is...
Everything on SNICK. The new SNICK sux0rs[the 'new' EVERYTHING sux0rs, really]. Also, I loved Roundhouse and You Can't Do That On TV and Double Dare and almost all of the cartoons on Nick[Rugrats sucked then and sucks now]. The cartoons of MTV were pretty cool too, it was where I was introduced to Plympton, Judge and Chung. I never watched CN much back then.. Except for SGC2C they only ever played old cartoons, Warner Bros. and Dexter, which tended to piss me off.
What's sad is I used to watch Bobby's World all the time. The ABC stuff too. Hell, when I did watch TV all I ever watched were cartoons. Look at a list of cartoons produced from 1993-1997 and that was my whole childhood watching experience.   <IMG SRC="http://peel.gotfuturama.com/ubb/biggrin.gif">

I used to watch many cartoons when I was younger. I watched Looney Tunes religiously, and quite liked things like Transformers, some of the Sonic cartoons and the Nintendo ones too. I remember loving Count Duckula as well.

Oh yeah of cause! Looney Tunes! I swear by the cartoon of Roadrunner where Coyote accidentally distributes those bombs and then they appear one by one explode on Coyote every time he tried something new to capture the ostrich.

Scruffy: "Second".

It really has gone down the toilet with all these shitty new shows right now. Except Fairly Oddparents, the entire network can suck my ass.

Same here. I grew up in my living room watching Nickelodean. When I was about 6 or so, I loved everything that came on. Including all the weird ass game-shows like "Legends of the Hidden temple"

Good times...

In my childhood, in the days B.C. (before cable), I remember watching the Flintstones and Jonny Quest in prime time.  Weekdays after school didn't have much to offer, but I do remember watching Clutch Cargo (mostly for laughs). If you want to see an example of really bad animation, watch this sometime.  Of course, Saturday morning was a kid's paradise and I remember such favorites as The Bugs Bunny Show, Rocky & Bullwinkle, George of the Jungle, Space Ghost, The Archies and, of course, Scooby Doo.

Same with me dude. I was glued to Nickelodeon every day of my childhood. I remember that "You Can't Do That on Television" show that i liked when it was on. It was kinda a pre-curser to "All That" in the variety show sense. That and Ren & Stimpy were always my 2 favorites.

YCDTOTV and R&S 4ever!!

That's basically what I have to say on that matter. Shows like Rocko's Modern Life, Angry Beavers, Doug, old Rugrats, Ahh!! Real Monsters, and Invader Zim are being replaced with utter garbage like Fairly Oddparents, Spongebob Squarepants, As Told By Ginger, and other homosexualfests. Gawd daim.

Wow Camp Candy I remember that show.

Hmm I love animation so I'm always up for watching a cartoon. Even now I'm not so young.

When I was young I watched Masters of the Universe, She Ra, My Little Ponies, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jem and the Holograms, Rainboiw Brite, Strawberry Shortcake, Captain Planet, Gummi Bears, Ducktale, Recue Rangers, Astro Boy, Mystic Cities of Gold, Ovide's Video, Albert The Fith Musketeer.

Mostly your standard 80's/early 90's cartoons.

I used to watch all of these, and I seem to remember that He-Man was for the boys, and She-Ra was supposed to be for the girls, but I loved them both  :D

Disney cartoons and Nicktoons. Pretty much everything before the New, More Inhaling Deeply Nickelodeon. And Sonic was good as well.

Just Chris, where are you?

I used to and still do watch cartoons...I don't watch much else besides cartoons.
My favorites being the ones on Adult Swim.

I can't even remember most of the cartoons I used to watch...
I know one invloved Sharks...Street Sharks perhaps?
And I also vaguely remember an INCREDIBLY VIOLENT cartoon, involving some sort of football....and when I mean incredibly violent, I mean incredibly violent. Limbs would constantly be torn off in the show, and blood would spew out.
I remember I had a toy...with removable limbs.
Damn, I watched that when I was like 3 or 4.

I wish I knew the name of it.....

11? Jesus christ, I remember when I joined, Hawk was the only one around my age.

I started an empire damn you! AN EMPIRE!
Well, Hawk did, but is he around now? No.

Whatever happened to him? He was cool.

I just remembered there was an apparently very violent Genesis game called Mutant League Football (and Mutant League Hockey as well) and  thought maybe there was a cartoon of it.  But yeah, you're welcome.

As said before, everything on Nickelodeon before it became crap. (Ahh! Real Monsters, Ren and Stimpy, and especially Rocko's Modern Life and Invader Zim.)
The cartoons now are OK, but no where near the quality of the classics. Now the only place I can see them is on Nicktoons TV, and unfortunately, my cable package doesn't have that channel.

[Shows off my digital cable package with Nicktoons.]

[Peter Griffin]Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.[/PG] Digimon? Transfomers? Powerpuff Girls? Wow, I didn't know people still watched/did watch those shows.

I noticed something about the Gay Nickelodeon, they use a show that's big until every cent they can get is out of it. Look at Spongebob and Oddparents. Both of them have been fully merchandised to the extent that you can't go anywhere where they sell toys or Nickelodeon stuff without seeing either of those two shows somewhere.

The funnies thing about Spongebob: I was just about the only person at my elementary school to like Spongebob, and I was in third grade and it came out the spring before the start of third grade for me. People that like Spongebob now, which does not include myself, have no idea that it had debuted after the Kid's Choice Awards in May 1999. They don't even know that it was around in 1999. Stupid noobs...

*obligatory "There was life before Futurama?" post*

Anywho, first there was a lot of CBC Canadian crap that none of you will have heard of. Then there was Aladdin. Then Gargoyles. Then the 90s Spiderman. Then the Simpsons. Then the 90s Spiderman again. Then the Simpsons again. And now Futurama, which has outlasted them all considerably.
