It's simple, who's best?

Newman

Drew Carrey

Homer Simpson

Peter Griffin

Cartman

Bender Bending Rodreguiz (Think of AOI 2)

Who's the best fat guy on T.V?
Sorry I keep adding. I have a bad memory.

Newman

The best fat guy on television is Newman. I will not here any argument against this point.

Newman's great because the only thing written on his business card is "Newman" in a small font dead center of a blank field.

Cartman's great because he hates everyone and everything.

Peter Griffin's great because he's from Rhode Island.

I also like the Comic Book Guy on the Simpsons.

What about Al Rouker? .. wait I think he lost weight..

.. If Louie Anderson's still around he's large and annoying..

I'd list more.. but I'm not allowed to watch TV anymore.

I agree. But if I had to pick one from the list it would be Homer Simpson.

shoopbender, what episode is that from?

I would go with Peter though, but I do like Bender better, its just that hes not really a fat guy all the time so I'm not counting him.

[Seinfeld] Newman!.... [/Seinfeld]

He rocks. I love that fat guy!  <IMG SRC="http://peel.gotfuturama.com/ubb/biggrin.gif">

Bender had only been fat once, but he died, so he was the best at being fat.

Shouldn't this be a poll?

You're forgetting Chris Farley AND John Candy. Wait, Fictional character..? Barf, then. From Spaceballs. Or the Duke from Dune. Ahh, chunky pedophile that he might be.. So delightfully evil. Oh, and Dr. Robotnik[Eggman, you say? Funk dat].

Homer.  Fan human Bender was disgustingly hilarious too.  And Cartman's great.

Not sure why people are picking Peter.  I liked the show but one of its biggest weaknesses was always the characters.  Not to say Peter's a Homer rip off (he isn't), but he wasn't original either; he was just the usual fat idiot that you see in every other family sitcom ever.  The humor was what stood out for Family Guy, NOT the characters.

Never watch Drew Carey or Seinfeld.

Cartman.
Cartman: Mom, tell them! Tell them the stories that everyone in our family had big bones, and just had to grow into their bodies!
Liane: I'm sorry Eric, those were all lies. You're just fat.

I've always thought Robotnik was a better name for him anyway!  Robotnik would flatten Homer and Peter Griffin like pancakes.  Just as long as he doesn't have that bald, long nosed, Fran Dresher sounding lackey with him!

Homer. I think he loses votes from some people who forget just how funny he really was. After 13+ seasons his impact just can't be measured. It's like standing on top of a dead skunk for eight hours....after you've been there long enough you don't even realize it is there.

I do think Peter is pretty damn good, but Fox, or Matt G. didn't let Homer get that 'edgey' what with the cursing and all.

The Simpsons did way more with the fat jokes though...what about all those jokes about Police Cheif Wiggum, or the time Springfield got in the record books as the fattest town?

That goddam Loch Ness monster! I wouldn't say that Chef fits in with these kinda fat guys though. He's more kind of "love handles" fat whereas these people, for want of a better term, are just really fat.
