I remember back in elementary school, the art teacher had us watch this at the end of every year, so for grades 1-3(the town I lived in had a split elementary district), I was watching Labyrinth to end it.

I'd also like to add Fast Times at Ridgemont High, just because nobody else has.

E.T. sucked balls, I hated that movie then and I hate it now. But...

Robocop - class film except for the sequels.
The Terminator - Bad ass.
Commando - One of his classics.
The Running Man - He's just great dontcha think?
Predator - Needs no introduction.
The Blues Brothers - I still have the album in my car.
All Back to the Futures.
Ghostbusters.
The Goonies - I wish I had adventures like that!
And whatever film anyone cares to mention as this decade is the one I mostly enjoyed films from. I also own most of them now (but am currently converting my collection to DVD)
Damn, so many good films, so little energy to write about them all....  :)

Bladerunner all the way. The best and most atmospheric 'dark' science-fiction film, plus it has Harrison Ford in it!

Just making a few corrections.  Grease came out in 1978 and Total Recall came out in 1990.
