I'm up to Colonial Day in season one, where they have the elections, I'm glad I downloaded the series! Cool show, Balthar is great, but it's a bit weird that he didn't reveal Boomer onboard Galactica... Can anyone explain that one to me? Woo! TOTP

I'm too lazy to dl this, but it has recently started here, so I have watched the first epsiodes (including the miniseries). I have to admit that I have developed quite a dislike for a number of characters, thus I wouldn't mind if they get sucked out of an airlock (by accident, of course.) Then again I do have to admit that the makers of this series are trying to do something different compared to other SciFi shows. Overall it's an intersting show, quite good, but not great.

Well, I finally finished watching Season 1 on DVD.
Oh my God, this show kicks so much ass...
It really does boggle my mind how awesome it really is. Possibly the BEST show I've ever watched on TV...
I'm debating on whether to buy the first half of Season 2 on DVD or wait til they release the full lineup... Any advice?

I think I felt like that when it first came out, but now I like it, it's a slow burner, and then when some of the shit hits the fan it's awesome. I can see the seriously thing though, at least they have a few funny guys like Gaius and Starbuck. Similes eh? Umm.... you're soft like a bag of tits.

Man, I suck. Good thing I found out about this on Thursday, after all the reruns of the finale are done. Bah, now I've got to find a torrent of it. Email me. I have the final ep on my TiVo and I can either burn you a copy on DVD or record it on VHS. Let me know one way or the other. I'll keep it for a few more days in case you want a copy.

The series is a little boring for the first 3 quarters of season 1 - but it picks up tremendously after that, imo.

Some interesting info on Battlestar... (Especially for Star Trek fans) Michael Taylor joins Galactica writing team TUESDAY - MARCH 14, 2006
Veteran genre television writer Michael Taylor has joined the Battlestar Galactica writing staff for the show's upcoming third season, the Chicago Tribune has learned.
Taylor served as a staff writer on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (alongside Galactica chief Ronald Moore), and a writer and story editor on Star Trek: Voyager. Following his Trek years he joined fellow Trek alum Michael Piller on The Dead Zone, where he served as a writer and supervising producer.
Taylor penned such memorable Trek episodes as "In the Pale Moonlight" (DS9), "Counterpoint" (Voyager), and "Relativity" (Voyager).
Battlestar Galactica writers Bradley Thompson and David Weddle also told writer Maureen Ryan that the writing staff is currently working on the first scripts of the season, and have mapped out eight of Season Three's 20 episodes. Moore is writing the first two episodes of the season, which will pick up from where the jaw-dropping cliffhanger left off last week.
The series begins filming in April.

Yeah, the two episodes were fantastic! "Get your fat ass out of here!" Me = Jesus, he is such a tubby now, haha. The one thing I never was able to loose with the first 2 seasons was the feeling that ANYONE could be a Cylon, so I always have suspicions about everybody, it drives me nuts! All the best characters are back, Sol was great. Gaius too, he's still a victim of himself and the Cylons, poor evil fella.

Agreed. Best Adama-Apollo moment evar.
And I think it's official that Baltar can claim the title for the worst elected leader in history, fictional or in reality.

Well I certainly enjoyed this series opener more that a certain other series that began it's third season in the same week (so his real name was Ben....great) Can't help feeling a little sorry for Baltar but I guess in some way he is paying for what he has done. Same with Tigh, perhaps he did not deserve to loose an eye but now he might start writing a relgious book teaching others how to get along with the Centari.....I mean Cylons. Was nice to see Brother Cavel in it still. It is also fun to believe that even in a culture that was meant to of split off from our own many millenia ago, still managed to develope the use of finger quotes. I am curious about a few things though Firstly Starbucks "Baby" I thought Sharon said the cylons had still not figured out how to do it and her own pregancy was the only sucess so far.
Also the promo for the next episode. There has been speculation that Gaius is a Cylon (and may infact be their leader in deep cover). So I wonder if they will reveal anything or like certain other series just answer the question with another question All in all looking forward to the next episode and hopefully they will do as they say and keep the season unbroken.

Wu: Maybe they didn't figure it out and the kid is full cylon? I don't see any reason why they can't make little evil ones. I'm under the impression that the whole thing is a ruse to get to Starbuck, including the "injury" to the child. She didn't see it happen... Stay tuned for the rest of Battlestar Galactica Season 2: The Saga of Fat Apollo.

The highlight of Exodus, Part 2 for me? That insanely badass move Adama pulled off. I don't even have to describe it, anyone who watched the episode knows what I'm talking about. Kudos to Ron Moore for thinking up that manouvre when he was writing.

Awwwwww! Not more "Apollo so fat" jokes. That was a great couple of eps, cool rescue, lucky Mr. Gaeta, creepy Balthar dream about Roslin. Specifically in the last one, cool Balthar on the Basestar, Badass Adama, poor grumpy old Sol. Also, nekkid Sharon model and bikini 6 model... *fapfapfap*

Well Lost has (excuse the pun) lost out. Galactica is firmly my faveorite series currently on Tv This series has certainly got darker. It has also become a little harder to guess the final 5 cyclon models, epsecailly since they don't talk about them apprently. My theory of one of them kinda got blown away, literally, well I guess he could come back. Oh silly silly Baltar, you will never get to be imperious leader if you keep doing things like that. Well I guess the Baltar is a cyclon debate is still on. I know there are pleanty of arguments against but he did seem to crush that infected six's neck quite easily (granted she was practically dead anyway. It is true we seem to see alot more cyclon flesh than colonial...well Apollo does seem to like to walk about in a towel. Anyway some form of naked Tai Chi.........nice.

She looked like she was imagining ballroom dancing to me, but it looked like Tai Chi too. The sexy kind! Moar Grace Park! I'm horrifiedly waiting for them to reveal one of the key players to be a Cylon, noooooo! It'll be interesting to see where they go with the sickness story, and the child of two species story. I'm guessing the child will be immune and will be the saviour of the Cylons, or something.
