Mr. Maggot, I agree with you on Cartman, but left hand does not beong in this crowd. Annoying? Yes. Whiny? Yes. Asshole? Not even close. Besides,he has the guy who played Friar Tuck in Robin Hood:Prince of Theives as his voice actor, how could he possibly be considered in the same category as the rest of these filth???

What about in episode 501: Scott Tenorman Must Die? Scott owed Cartman something like $16, so Cartman killed his parents, cooked them in with some chilli and then fed the chilli to Scott. If that doesn't classify Cartman as an asshole, I don't know what does - perhaps in Cherokee Hair Tampons when he refused to donate his kidney to save Kyle's life, or in Kenny Dies when he used Kenny's death as a way to sell the aborted foetuses he found to stem cell research?

My vote goes to Eric Cartman, without a doubt. Having said that - I'd also like to add that I have NO idea who the hell Master Shake or Capatin Murphy are, but even if I did, my vote would still go to Cartman.

All the comments made about Shake is true and funny?  He does think toothpaste is for gays and he's always trying to kill Meatwad.

Why is Eric Cartman not posted on the poll?  He's the biggest asshole.  He made a kid eat his parents.  Cartman didn't give a damn that his grandmother died, except that she left him one million dollars. He has no respect for anything other than himself.  He disses Jews and minorities. Though his comments about hippies are funny and sort of true.

Cartman: Hippies, they talk about saving the world, but all they do is smoke pot and smell bad.

How come Dr. Robotnik wasn't on the list?  Or his retarded assistant? You know who's bald, long nosed, and dresses like Elroy Jetson on a bad day and has the voice of Fran Dresher on PCP!

I used to like Robotnik once, but now since I've gotten over that thanks to Futurama I think they're both the biggest @$$holes in the cartoon world!

The thing is, you can olny fit so many options on the list. If you're going to put on Robotnik, why not every cartoon villain of all time? There has to be a cutoff somewhere. If you want to vote for Robotnik, just vote "other", and say that you voted other for Robotnik in your post.

So why was the most evil thread shut down? Assholes and evil are close in a way, but do we really consider people who are homicidal maniacs or sociopathic killers to be assholes, or just evil?

Just because a cartoon character is an asshole doesn't make that character evil.

Cubert is an asshole, but he's not evil.

The term "asshole" implies more to just being a jerk.
