I liked Lisa on Ice cause I'm a diehard hockey fan, and this is the better of the 2 episodes with a hockey plot/subplot.  They also did hockey during a Season 14 episode where the family won the trip on the reality show in the 1800s house.  I hate how they make fun of hockey (Lisa: It says here we're gonna see hockey, Family: Ahhh!).  I loved Lisa on Ice though.

And Scully is still a producer.

No he's not. he was a consulting producer in season 14 but his name is not on season 15 episodes (except for the season 14 holdovers)

I'm assuming Scully could write a few good jokes, and I may be mistaken but I think he knew David Mirkin who hired him. I could be completly wrong though.

Finally I got Season 4 on DVD today, the UK version. I'm very happy with it so far, the picture transfer is the best yet out of the Seasons currently released. Much better extras than Season 3. Not overly keen on the menus, but I don't hate them. Very clool set, what I've seen so far

I watched the 1st disc with all commentaries on, Jon Lovitz is brilliant!  :D

Nice to see the extra effort they put into this one.

Having read on these boards how "bad" the commentaries are supposed to be on the Simpsons DVDs, I avoided them like the plague. But since Season 4 just has so many great episodes, I figured what the hell -- and they don't suck at all!

I mean, yes, the voice actors are fairly absent, but whatever. They're still good. And as much as I like learning about how they did some fancy effect in an Futurama episode, it seems that the Simpsons commentary has less of that (though, to make up for it, they seem obsessed with pointing out who did what as far as scenes go).

I especially like hearing all the stuff about Conan O'Brien's time on the staff. The stories of his wild, crazy antics affirm the idea of him I've always had, and make me love him even more.  :D

I laughed when I heard one of the commentators call him "Coney", too.

I prefrer Simpsons commetaries. John Di Maggio's singing and dancing may be funny the first 27 times but then it starts to get a little tiresome.
