Best "crazy" cartoon

Here's my rankings (one being the best)

1. The Simpsons: Seasons 1-8 (WINNER)
2. The Simpsons: Seasons 13-15
3. Futurama: Seasons 1-3
4. Futurama: Season 4 (First Half)
5. Family Guy
6. The Simpsons: Seasons 9-12
7. Futurama: Season 4 (Second Half)
8. South Park

I like all these shows but they're pretty different. Futurama and The Simpsons rely on their plots whereas Family Guy and South Park rely on humor.

The Simpsons is my favorite, though.

Leelaholic: define "Crazy" cartoon. Because there's not a single Williams Street production in that poll, it's just 4 well established prime time sitcoms, so it seems like a somewhat vague and sketchy poll.

Eh, I'm not entirely happy with this poll either. No Zim or Rocko's Modern Life or a bunch of the Adult Swim stuff, plus "The Simpsons" is debateable since a lot of people don't actually watch it for the wackiness specifically.

Is one of the best crazy cartoons ever. But I chose Family Guy because it's unpredictible. Anything can happen (IE The Kool Aid Joke in Episode 1)

This is the worst thread I have ever seen. The choices are wacky. I never considered The Simpsons or Futurama a crazy cartoon.

Worst poll ever.*  Along with Zim, Freakazoid, Animanicas, etc, where's the option of the entire output of Tex Avery, the man who pretty much invented crazy cartoons?

Anyway, I voted for Family Guy, because it's the craziest of the choices listed.

It's worse than the Favorite Anime poll, but at least we got an 'other' choice there.

But if I have to choose out of those 4 it would be Family Guy. The pacing's quicker than other cartoons, and the flasbacks alone make it worth watching.

But I also want my Animaniacs and Freakazoid.

Seriously, did these people WATCH Amazon Women in the Mood, Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles, or the Sting?  Some of the craziest half-hours in television.

Yeah, exactly Nixorbo.  The wackiness is part of Futurama's charm, always has been (especcially in seasons one and two when there wasn't even much else to it).  Even the most relatively "down to earth" episodes have, shall we say, wacky things like sewer mutants and  cloning devices made from children's toys.  Nothing wrong with that, its a science fiction comedy.

Actually, I was just repeating a poll I started at NHC. I tried to bring the joy here but everyone was like...
