And our own version of what not to wear for some reason.

Does anyone see a pattern in Channel 7's content here?
I think at least they have been investing in some very good Copyright Attorneys.

Even the ol' reliable, ABC, is turning on its viewers.

Charlie Brown only once a week?!  :nono:

Heh, Charlie Brown's a very cool show. Though I've never heard any kids that age speak as if they are college philosophers.    :p

It was .. uhh .. alright. I'm not much of a Simpsons fan though, I still watched it.

The whole 2 hours was just filled with a new Simpsons treehouse of horror and some old ones (I think). The new one was OK, Homer being 'Death' was pretty funny.

I knew they'd throw some old ones in there....
Is this gonna be Season 15 that everyone has been saying is a lot better than previous years....?

I don't know what season it is, I'm not nearly as obsessive a fan of The Simpsons as I am  of Futurama. The new episode was good though. But didn't Family Guy already do the whole 'death' thing?

I believe that both Family Guy & The Simpsons were spoofing a novel or something with that Death thing, or so I've heard anyway.

Either way, I really liked that Simpsons episode on Tuesday. Surprisingly funny.

HOMER: Jasper, you are now dead!
JASPER: Huh? Where's Doug?
HOMER: I'M Death now!
JASPER: ... I miss Doug.  :p

If it's The Why of Fry, wait until you've got your DVDs. You'll enjoy it more, and it'll make getting the DVDs that little bit sweeter  :D

Personally I was disappointed by TWOF though...

Fair enough, I won't give anything away.  I can't exactly say why I didn't like it, it just didn't seem to have the proper Futurama vibbe... or something...

I personally was disappointed by The Why Of Fry too. It just seemed really thoughtless - as if the whole reason they made the episode was just to reveal that twist...

Hope I didn't give too much away.  :p

Actually I think we must be getting TWOF, I misread the tv guide....the part about Nibbler enlisting Fry, and the brains I took that as meaning TDTESS....whoopsy daisy  :p

Hooray then I've been dying to see this ep even if you guys don't like it....!

My new favourite episode until I see the rest of S4.... :)

I like closure and finding out the rest of the Fry/Nibbler story was greatly satisfying....even if it did confuse me even more.... :hmpf:

Maybe I'll appreciate it more when I see it again, in DVD quality (I've so far only seen a downloaded copy of it- didn't bother staying up last week).

You lot seem to have a different TV timetable to mine own (I live in Queensland). The last bunch of episodes debuted on Feb 17, with BSNBAOTV.

Also, try CNNNN on ABC. Not for everyone, but can be quite amusing (asuming it returns this year). LAAAAAAAAAAAAMEAAAAAAAAAAAASS!

All you Eastern states people are one ep in front of us because last year we missed a week and you still got your ep....confused...??!11  :p

I'm so proud of myself I've had the S4 dvd's nearly a week and I still haven't watched the eps they haven't shown on TV yet....The Sting being one of them....heh-heh

EDIT, they showed BSNBAOTV....guess that means I'll see the Sting on glorious dvd for the first time....! *licks lips*

one show i really like is scrubs, the "Get up-Ah!" song part in last nights episode was hilarious. channel 7 putting futurama back on is  alost cause, theyve pissed everyone off, so it made me "aquire" the rest of the episodes. i will eventually get the boxed sets, but im too poor right now. the amount of reality shows at the moment is funny, Average Joe, whow ants to marry my dad, my big fat obnoxious husband. funny, well off to eat pizza, thought id sahre that with you all

I shall assume that's something like the Onion ('cept Australia and heavily satirical) right? And no, sorry.

Also, I believe that some of the cast members have their own show on JJJ called Restoring the Balance, which is similar to CNNN, except it's on radio (gloviosly).

And I just have to post this quote from CNNN's "Degrassi Preschool" (or whatever it may be called).
"No! You're too pregnant for hopscotch!"

Yeah, it's an Australian satirical newspaper by the Chaser team (printed as an actual newspaper, not online- although they do have a website).

Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV
The Sting
