C'mon! By waiting for it to come on TV - you're basically saying that Channel 7 are doing the right thing. You have the episode on DVD! DVD!!! That means better quality in every aspect! Why the hell are you waiting for some crappy channel to air this great episode in some crappy quality at some crappy timeslot when you can go & watch it in perfect quality right now?!?!

Do they still show "Let the Blood Run Free" on aussie TV?

I saw it on Channel 4 (uk) years ago but haven't seen any repeats since.

To be honest, I've never even heard of the show... A little help here, anyone?

Aside from a few evening soaps, some late night talk shows, several crappy reality shows and the ocassional Aussie comedy, the majority of stuff on Australian TV is made from overseas anyway.

Anyway, until someone answers the question, I'm going to take the liberty of changing the subject... we're getting Foxtel Digital installed in May. Anyone else have it? If so, is it good, and how does it differ from the old Foxtel?

Because it's the principle....! I started watching Futurama on TV and dammit I'm going to end it on TV....

Nerdlingus I used to watch that back when I was about 10/11 or so....It used to be on here....!
Don't remember much about it except it was set in a hospital, and it was hell funny.... :D

I think I was around the same age when I saw it, it was on late (for the age anyways) and as you said, hell funny!

My most prominent memory of the show is of copious amounts of fake blood flying all over the place... :laff:

Well, Big Brother is soon to be on the air .. again. But, with a "new" marketing tactic .. 'its a secret .. its a secret' - oooh, whats it going to be? Oooh, the suspense is killing me  :laff:

Also, Beamer - I was going to get Foxtel Digital but I thought I'd wait it out until they make the connection price drop or when I actually get some money. It sounds rather promising, but, I dont really need anymore channels than what I've got now.

Doe's anyone else think that channel ten has some of the most hilariously bad advertisments for shows' ever?
From: "Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God."
To: "I see dead people. (buda buda boom)... dead people."
To this new Big Brother one...
Oy. I need something/one to vent my anger upon...

Well, we never actually HAD ordinary Foxtel to begin with, so we figured that if we were getting it, we might as well get the better one. I was just asking for Foxtel Digital comments since I already knew a lot about plain ol' Foxtel anyway.

Channel Ten fucking suck at advertising their shows. They aired 3 Simpsons commercials in a row for new episodes - all of which envolved ass jokes. Laaaame. There have been plenty of better moments which they could've advertised.

And as for Big Brother returning, I can't help but be pissed off. I mean, at least with most TV shows - when they air, they only take up one timeslot. Big Brother takes up about 10 hours of airtime a week! WHAT KIND OF ASSHOLE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT WHAT THESE NOBODIES IN A HOUSE DO EVERY DAY?!?!

"It's the secret that's got all of Australia guessing!" Well, not me - that's for sure.

I think they might be holding ransom Euro 2004 and only showing it on Fox digital. Bastards.

Don't y'all get me started on Big Brother.
I don't really hate it as such, it just annoys the shit out of me, especially because (like Beamer said) it takes up about half of Channel 10's schedule every week.

Also, reality TV? More like banality TV! HAHAHAH! Get it??
All: Shut the fuck up!

I hate Big Brother more than anything on Television with an undying flame of passionate hatred, but I want to discuss that weird ad for 'Miriam'.
She's sexy...
She's hot...
She's a..... he?

OK, it doesn't look good at all, but what makes it funny is that there's a girl in my class by the same name.   ;)

I didn't get into the first Big Brother, but I really liked the second one....after that I was sick of it....

Also even though there's only 2 eps left to air, when are Channel 7 showing the rest of Futurama....?

What exactly is Miriam? Is it like one of those dating shows, but the woman they're all competing for is secretly a man? Or do I just not know what I'm talking about? (I haven't actually seen the ad.)

Chay, the Mole is probably never going to come back. After the last 2 series flopped pretty badly it is unlikely that it will ever reappear.

When I say the last two series I mean the two after the first one. The original mole did extremely well, but the two follow ups failed.

The prize money is $1 millions instead of $250, 000.  What does it mean u ask? its just another million reasons not too watch it.

Reality Tv needs to be cut back big time, as does the Law & Order and those types of Court Room drama shows.

Bring back some aussie TV shows to the likes of Full Frontal and other shows.  I mean i don't mind us tv shows but there is so many shit ones to choose from.

Well, there's just as much Australian Reality as there is American Reality. I don't agree with cutting down on court-drama shows, those are about the only decent shows on television, even though I don't really watch them much.

Reality can be fun to watch, but if you dont watch it from the start its a pain. Shows like The amazing race and survivor, I quite like.

Regardless of how good the resturant is. Nobody like the brizzy couple. Perth aren't that awesome either (who calls a girl dude?) but brizzy will go. Shaun miccalef's parts on full frontal were great, espcially milo kerrigan, the policeman and fabio: the most beautiful man in the cosmos. I also like that art critic who only ever said "Its crap".  What was that fake show that miccalef did for his program, When he was a doctor and an overly bads actor. They also did a court one.

Yeah he plays a doctor and always says STAT! he also did a lawyer one as well but thats not on the DVD.  also Nobby Doldrum.....he's a really dopey lookig person and does stupid things....example - puts 2 cents worth of petol in his car and goes to pay for it, but cuz it's 2 cents it gets rounded down...and repeats this.  have to c it.

Also anyone watch Merric and Rosso?  fuck they make me laugh!

Merrick and Russo are definately at their best when they're just making up stuff off the top of their heads...
God, the auidence is a frightening lot sometimes, though...

Incidently... Sean Micallif persona's (that I can think of): Dr Miracle, Micallif Q.C., Fabio (with Claude the monkey), Milo Kerrigan, Quentin Welcher, David McGahn, and of course, Roger Explosion...

but what I'll remember most is that he introduced Myron to the world... and that makes him a GOD.

Attentione! Ill e Myron!

Oh my that is just pure gold. Thanks for bringing back memories of the great Myron.
My favourite one was one where he was in a breakdancing competition against another plasticine character, just remembering that awful dancing from Myron, is bringing me into fits of laughter.

Aah Roger Explosion.... <IMG SRC="http://peel.gotfuturama.com/ubb/smiley_laff.gif">

David McGahn was my fave I think....he always showed the footage of the antelopes or whatever they were, no matter what the story was about...

Today's comedians could learn from this guy....!

God I miss that show.... <IMG SRC="http://peel.gotfuturama.com/ubb/frown.gif">

Also I loved the weatherman on the news show they had.... err what's his name....I'll think of it....

More Myron goodness:

Myron; "What's the matter?'
Other dude: "I'm made of symtex." (explodes)

And, of course, Citzen Kane.
Myron: "Rosebud" (crushed by giant snowglobe)

Just... bloody brilliant... though I don't think anything matches up to the utter awesome bizarreness of the first...

Myron stands there for a second, then his arms fall off. <IMG SRC="http://peel.gotfuturama.com/ubb/smiley_laff.gif">

It was just bloody brilliant...
