In the jurassic park trilogy are there 2 or 3 parks?
park 1 - film 1
park 2 - film 2 (film 3?)
park 3? - film 3?
i got confused because in 3 sam neil says hes never benn on this island before therefore is can't be island 1. and island two was supposed to be free from cages and walls and yet there are birdcages and abandoned buildings.
any thoughts?

I think there are only two:

Islar Nublar : The one with the Park (JP1)
Islar Sornar : The one with the labs, etc (JP2 and JP3)

Hence why Billy says "Site B" in JP3.

I think there was actually 3.
Island 1 had the park.
Island 2 was like some kind of breedign area.
Island 3 waa secondary park with things like teradactles.

At least that's how I understood it. Atleast that's what it was in the movies. In hte books there was two, since there was only two books.

The books were better than the movies. I think that was why the 3rd one sucked so much, it wasn't based off of a novel. What a complete waste of William H. Macy's time.

There were only two islands.  Remember Billy's words in JP3, "That was Isla Nublar, this is Isla Sorna, Site B."

Of course there is also Isla We-Already-Have-A Jurassic-Park-Thread.  I'm not sure we need another one.
