It's a bit better. There are some really good episodes, and some really bad ones.

Well, I'd have to say that HOMR, the one where he gets the crayon removed from his nose and becomes smarter was pretty good.  Season 4-8 good.  Of course that bully episode sort of cancelled it out.  Oh, how bad it was.  How could you forsake me?!?  :nono:   :o

It's Mondays at 8, but they also had an 80-minute movie premiere, wich aired twice on Friday, once on Saturday, and twice on Sunday. It was "da bomb" as those crazy kids say... and it also had trailers for the Timm/Dini Justice League series coming in November, which were really cool.

I finally caught that Samurai Jack show...to be honest it wasn't as cool as I had hoped, but it was good. I liked the atmosphere it created, but some of it was a little too exaggerated for my tastes(like having the three guards shoot like a million arrows in one second). I'll keep watching.

Wow...almost exactly 13 months since the last post. Good job, Aleel.

In the non-anime categories....
(excluding the obvious, Futurama)
1) Mission Hill
2) Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law
3) Aqua Teen Hunger Force
4) The Simpsons
5) South Park
6) Sealab 2021

I don't watch much tv, aside from cartoons.

Most of the stuff I like is kinda repeated, so I'll add a couple of greats that have been forgotten in this thread.

1) Real Ghostbusters
2) Ninja Turtles
3) Invader Zim  (Another great show canceled by bitch-ass execs before it's time.)

My other top 4 cartoons are Simpsons, Invader ZIM, Spongebob and South Park. The Critic was great, I wish Comedy Central would still repeat it. Even though it was on on Mondays at midnight, meaning that one minute before would have been Sunday, I would have at least taped it. Remember that episode where Siskel and Ebert split up and Jay tried out to be their new partner? That episode was great, the Rosie Parez robot was hilarious.

Yeah, I liked that show when it first came on. But later in its run, for some reason Nickelodeon kept rerunning the same four or five episodes--and they were crappy episodes, too. What's the deal with that?

From what I remember, Nick had the problem of always reruning the same episodes for every decent show they had. I only remember like two distinct "Ren and Stimpy's". "Rocko" was a really clever show for it's time, and I really wish I could find the episodes now, because the humor was more adult-accessable than the crap they have on now.

If the Simpsons want a new direction why don't they break into porn. It could be cool. Just think, Patty and Selma incessed lesbian scenes. Excitement, thy name is cartoon porn. Ha Ha!

No way, the worst cartoon THING
ever was a cartoon I saw called "Mary Kate and Ashley in Action." It involved them, a scientist, a talking Scottie dog and some other guy saving the world. Some evil villains had a bomb, they were trying to get it from them. This involved a piggie in the middle style game. A saw it again recently. they were stopping some guy from making robot dogs and selling them as pets. They just kept going on and on about loyalty and companionship. It was awful.  :puke:
