Well, with the word that Jim Carrey has signed to play the lead in the new Six Million Dollar Man movie, I guess that interest in the old series might start to get built up again.  Does anybody remember watching either of those shows, Six Million dollar man, or the Bionic woman when they were growing up?  Did you like 'em?

May favorite episodes where always the more fantastic ones, like the Bionic Bigfoot, the Venus Probe ones (aka Deathprobe)or the Fembot episodes.  That sound efect will always hang around in my head(dahdahdahdah) and I've still got the Steve Austin figure from way back when.  So, anybody like to watch that stuff, or do you watch it still?

My father used to watch it, but I never did. He really liked it.

The fucking bastards! The Six Million Dollar Man movie was my idea! I was going to make it! Ask anyone!
Hey, I'm sure that it will be a good movie and all with the god of comedy in it, but I'm just pissed. I had the script all written and everything. Shit! Excuse me while I put an end to my life that has just been ruined.

he said that he wanted to be the one to make The Six Million Dollar man movie, and he even wrote the script--and since someone else is making it he's gonna kill himself

I used to watch The Six Million Dollar Man as a child, I can't remember individual episodes though as that was over twenty years ago.

My brother used to have the action figure, guess that got lost twenty years ago as well  :p

We aren't supposed to have individual movie threads anyway. So if this thread is alive tomorrow, then the Kill Bill threads need to be opened back up. Goddamn White Boy!

This isn't an individual movie thread, it is about the TV show and our memories of it

One thing that I recall was, I believe Andre the Giant played the Bigfoot in one episode, and in another episode, was played by Ted Cassidy(Addams Family's 'Lurch').

Heh, back then, it didn't occur to me that they'd probably rip their arms out of their body when they picked up super-heavy weights or stuff like that, it was just cool seeing them run in slow-motion and stuff.

Slurm Guy--take a deep breaaaath. Deep, deeep breath.

I WANT A PEEP NECKLACE.
Sorry, food channel seizure.

Anyway, I'm sorry Mr. Slurm. The threads are gone. Gone forever. There's nothing we can do to bring them back now. I know you loved them, sir, but you've got to move on. Please, be strong. Be strong for the threads that still go on. They're the ones that need you now.

You're right. I must be strong, I must be all that I can. I'll do it, I'm gonna march into that building and shoot up all those evil bastards. It's what the Kill Bill threads would want me to do.

Yes slurm guy you know you want to. Well if this is about bionic man and your "memories" then the kill bill threads are about our "memories" of it!

Yeah but the PEEL board is on an effort based point system--and dredging this show (which I've never even seen) from the deep, dark recesses of the memory is a lot easier than recalling one that you just saw in the theatre a long time ago.

I'm also a pathalogical liar.

Look, moron, there is a difference between a thread about a single movie, and a thread about a single TV show.  The difference is that the latter is allowed, and the former is not.
