I don't know why, but this show is my all time favourite (yes 100% equal to Futurama). I believe that it is mainly because of the characters. I care about them, they are great and funny and the actors are amazing (especially Ginnifer Goodwin- come back, Ginny... anyone else thinks she's truly brautiful? -I do.).
It provokes thought and is clever, funny (with sarcasm - yay!  :D).
With some shows (like Friends and Simpsons) I don't really care what happens to the characters as long as it's funny. But in Ed, I want what's best for them (also in Futurama)...

I think that's on here late at night, the guy's funny I think, he guest starred on Scrubs and was ok, must watch it.

If it's crap, you die!  :evillaugh:

It's NOT crap... but you might not get into the "feel" of the show at first (I know some people who needed two episodes to get hooked)...

I see you used my favourite extraterrestrial as your avatar. Being of inconceivable horror- I shalt praise thee forever.

I watch the show when I remember it's on.  It was a great show the first season, very Northern Exposure like.  It seems to have lost it's magic though.  I attribute the degeneration to the inevitible relationship between Carol and Ed.  It seems like this has sapped the creativity, made it somewhat one dimensional (the Carol and Ed show).  I still like it, but it doesn't seem as good.

Yes... Carol & Ed does take up quite a lot of space, BUT still there are lots of other stuff: Warren, the Burtons, Phil's accomplishments (or lack thereof), Mark's weightloss, etc...
All in all, the characters have just got amazing depth, which makes the show full and nutricious..

Hell yeah, it's probably the best show currently on television.  It has such an assortment of great characters.

I saw the show when it was first in the UK during the day and liked it.  Not sure if they ever got past the first season over here though, and if so when it is on...

Ah yes, in the summer holidays they used to show Ed at 11am on C4 every weekday. I liked it, I watched it whenever it was on  :)

I wanted to watch Ed when it first came out, but I kept missing it, and now I just don't watch it 'cause I don't think I can catch up.

You mean Michael Ian Black (aka Phil Stubbs)?

Yeah, he's great.  Some of you might remember him from such shows as The State, or as your cool-ass pal, Johnny Bluejeans, from Viva Variety.

So, did anyone else watch tonight's episode?

So, where do you think they're going with this?
