The bottom 100 movies as voted by IMDB users.

Quite an interesting list actually, I think I've only ever seen one on the list.

And this is the Top 250 movies as well.

They've reorganized the list, because there used to be a lot more MST3K movies on it.  They must have increased the minimum number of votes required for a movie to be counted.

2001: A Space Odyssey is in the top 250, and 2001: A Space Travesty is in the bottom 100. Good times.

I have not seen a lot of these movies but just by judging the titles you can see they were bad ideas. Who ever thought that a movie named Hercules in New York could be good? Or Santa with Muscles?

There are 18 movies worse than "Battlefield:Earth"? How is that possible?

I see that "Stjerner uden Hjerner" has slipped out of the Bottom 100, despite a 1.6 average rating. At one time my local TV-station (TV3) showed this piece of junk three times within two months.

You mean that movie was actually rated on imdb.com?

Wow, I thought Gordon & Kennedy were so embarrased about it they bought all copies and buried them deep beneath the Greenland icecap.  :D

Of those, I have seen:

55. Superman IV : The Quest For Peace
- I was unaware of this film until I saw it whilst on holiday in Florida. And I wish it had stayed that way.  ;)

57. Robocop 3 (A large number of sequels on this list).
- Yeah, I can see how this made it onto the list. Still, I can think of a fair number of films worse than it.

64. Speed 2 : Cruise Control
- While clearly nowhere as good as the original, I still thought this film wasn't that bad.

75. The Avengers
- Oh god, yes. This film was utterly utterly awful.

82. Super Mario Bros. (I've noticed a lot of game-to-film movies made it on the list as well).

- Meh. Falls into the same category as Robocop 3.

95. Batman and Robin

- Yeah, sounds about right.

"Gigli" and "From Justin to Kelly" cannot be worse than "Manos." I refuse to believe that.

Of the bottom 100, I have seen...
Manos, Hobgoblins, Eegah, Mitchell (all of which I own, via MST3K), Space Mutiny, Future War, 2001: A Space Travesty , Santa With Muscles, Plan 9 From Outer Space, Weekend at Bernie's 2, Super Mario Brothers, Friday the 13th Part 8, McHale's Navy, Batman and Robin.

14 out of 100. I'm disappointed in myself. Note how I have not seen all of those all the way through (Santa W/Muscles, 2001) because they're so incredibly bad.

How could they put Ed Wood's "Glen or Glenda" on the list? That man was a movie-genius and one day somebody's going to realize that.

And I assume that's where TV3 get their copy from. I certainly hope they didn't pay for it. Wasn't there something about Gordon & Kennedy never showing up to the premiere of their own film? I think a total of 400 people saw it at the movie theatres, which is pretty bad considering they had given out 1000 free tickets.

Ed wood:
The man was someone who really tried to make "good" movies but he failed trying.
He is on hell crying for forgiveness but no one will give it to him considering the quality of movies he did.

I dunno more than a half of those movies but the names are so stupid that you can tell whereas they are bad or not.
Meanwhile I prefer to watch old and burned TNT.

It's a pity that IMDB doesn't include german films from the 50's 60's and 70's. In that times they must have produced the worst films in history. I don't know why some TV stations still show them, they hurt my brain.

I'd put Pulp Fiction among the top 10 and The Godfather below the top 10

gigli? Worst movie ever?? Wow, it must really really suck.

But I wouldn't trust these voters, Tron wasnt anywhere in the top 100, so chances are most of the people who voted probably haven't seen alot of classic movies.

But hey, Clockwork Orange was up there, dig.

Oh, and I suppose "12 angry men" is? dont get me wrong, it was a good movie but theres no fucking way it deserves a place in the top 100 more than Tron.

Easy now, there's over 260,000 movies listed on IMDb.com and there's only 100 allowed in the Top 100, so a lot of good films will be left out. Also the Top 100 is based on the average rating of thousands of people, naturally it won't reflect one's personal favourites. There's some movies on that list I don't agree with either, but all in all it's pretty damn good collection.

BTW, take a look at the votes breakdown for Tron. Quite a few people gave it a perfect 10.

Those lists are bunk.  Never let the general public decide anything.  The Matrix ranked higher than Taxi Driver, gimme a fucking break with that mentality Con Air shoulda been in the top 5.

Of them I've seen:

10 Santa with Muscles (1996)  :nono: Oh dear, oh dear....

Pokémon the First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back (1999) I probably saw it... and it was horrible. I never really liked Pokemon, but my damn friends did.

81 Freddy Got Fingered (2001) Such a bad... yet so funny... movie.

The only reason Gigli is #1 is because it's so recent and the media has some kind of crusade against it. I'm sure it's bad, but it can't be #1 bad. For that you'd need more explosions and a loud soundtrack.
