People in the UK should be interested to know that although the Two Towers isn't released until Tuesday, you can still buy a copy today! For some crazy reason Sainsburys supermarkets are selling it now! I've already got it, I swear. Once I had my copy safely in my hands and paid for, I asked why it was already on sale. They were as baffled as me, but apparently Sainsburys have been given 'special' permission to do so.
I know this thread won't be around long, but I just thought that UK people might want to know.  :D

Last year I did buy my copy of the "Fellowship" a few days before the official release. In some other stores they had the DVDs and VHS already on display but were not selling them...

Yeah, I saw it for sale in Woolworths as well. I walked past and saw all these signs saying it was for sale today. I was confused...I may buy a copy if I have the money, but LOTR is starting to annoy me because my friends won't shut up about it.

What's the point in buying the DVD now, when the better extended edition comes out in three months?

Somebody had to mention this...

Besides, aren't three hours enough for you?  :p

Meh, I'll do the same thing I did for FOTR: buy a previously viewed version of the Theatrical Cut (just to have it) and then get the expanded DVD.
